McDonald's — Restaurant in Knowsley

A new, small McDonald’s but could do with a lot of improvements.

The first thing I noticed after walking in to this branch of McDonald’s is that there are no staff on-hand to help at the counter so the service is the bare minimum at this franchise - Most of the staff are probably serving customers for the drive thru so don’t expect service if you need to order at the counter.

Furthermore, with the lack of service at the front of the restaurant, the dining area was dirty and isn’t kept clean. There was food and litter across the whole dining area (see my photos).

With the lack of staff presence it felt like this restaurant came straight from a ghost-town or a zombie apocalypse film; zero atmosphere.

The food took a while to arrive too, I ordered a cheeseburger on the mobile app and it took between 10-15 minutes for it to be served.

Overall, despite it being more of a pit stop branch of McDonald’s, I can’t recommend dining in at this McDonald’s because of the lack of service...

Absolute joke. My CRISPY wrap which I originally ordered did not come crispy and came GRILLED! What a tosser! Went to the service point and waited 20 minutes for some unprofessional teenager who thinks he’s the boss. Writing this review WHILE waiting for my CRISPY WRAP! The chips were definitely stale, and the tables were greasy, after realising my own self worth I shouted over the counter for no answer whatsoever? Are they hiring deaf people? Is Helen Keller working a part time? Absolute disgrace! I’ll only give this place 2 star atmosphere because no one was there, and for good reason! Big flavour wrap? Get more flavour on the end of my own shoe! Another reason was the lack of brownies even though they are sitting on display like some Rolex in a window, fast food? Hardly! McFlurry which I ordered around half an hour ago is probably sitting there melting while the bone idle workers cannot take the time out of their day to feed their customers. 1/5 stars, definitely not...

Been to this place twice and will never return. You always get the odd issue with Maccies - an item missing, cold chips or sauce on a plain burger etc etc, but this place took first place for me as worst I’ve ever visited - twice!!! First visit, there was, no joke - 3 items missing. 3 burgers missing! Really? Went in and to be fair they sorted it and gave me fresh chips so they weren’t cold. The service to rectify meant I gave it another go. Second visit, same thing happened again - 2 items missing this time. Went in and the rude woman inside refused to give me fresh chips despite me having to wait. She claimed that I’d have to wait another 5 mins for fresh chips as they had none ready - then the burgers would be cold. Was fuming anyway about all this - then gets home and the cheeseburger we ordered only had cheese - no burger!!! A cheese barm!!! What??? Absolutely awful. See picture....
