Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Leeds

Costa Moor Allerton Centre LS17 5NY - Agreed with other negative reviews …this is indeed the worst Costa in Leeds. We visited at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon. Staff looked really tired and didn’t seem interested in serving customers. Most tables and sandwich fridge closed an hour early. Coffee ground splatters on the Perspex screen and the kitchen area was really filthy. We waited 5min to be served even though there wasn’t a queue. Staff weren’t greeting any customers, they also didn’t offer us any cutlery until we specifically asked for it. The frappé we ordered didn’t have any coffee in it, just a blend of creamy chocolate. Costa usually has an excellent service but this particular outlet badly...

Visited this morning and I forgot how bad it is. The toilets were absolutely vile & should be reported to health and hygiene. Risk of serious infection and sickness from the toilets. Hot chocolate for child was awful. Charged extra for marshmallows and whipped cream, guy missed the cream and then slopped on without shaking so it was wet foam. New drink Hazel maple latte was awful and so bitter, it’s given me serious heartburn and allergy.

This is only for the local people who don’t commute outside of the area, it was so awful.

I had a fantastic experience at Costa Coffee in Moor Allerton, thanks largely to the store manager, Chander. From the moment I walked in, Chander’s warm and friendly demeanor made me feel so welcome. He clearly takes pride in his work, ensuring the team delivers top-notch service and that everything runs like clockwork. The coffee was delicious—perfectly brewed as always—and the store had such a inviting, relaxed vibe. Chander’s leadership really shines through, and it’s no surprise the place is so well-run.
