We were introduced to this absolute gem of a restaurant by some Turkish friends and we've been coming back as often as we can ever since. Blown away on the first visit and every visit since then has been equally as good. The food is delicious. The portions are generous and the prices are great for what you get. The free lentil soup you are given on arrival is beautiful. You also get a free bottle of water each. Chicken is always succulent, tasty and well cooked. The chicken wings are gorgeous with a citrus tang. Lamb just falls apart. Even down to the side dishes. They're all super. The aubergine side dish? Wow. For example, tonight we had free soup, two chicken wing skewers with salad. Two chicken skewers with rice (that rice is amazing too) and naan. Aubergine side dish. Barely managed to finish it all. Less than £20 all in. Really can't go wrong. Free parking. They prefer cash but will take card. Clean, welcoming, friendly, healthy, generous, tasty and well priced. what more...
Read more1st time visit ....service was great...food is authentic but could be a lot warmer as felt it was abit cold for my liking. Soup starter was excellent and free cold water given in beginning. Very busy on an evening catering for the refugee community. Sat in family area on left side of toilets. Felt I was in Kurdistan as I joked with my partner. Veg curry was nice tasted like tomatoes and salty. I loved the soft tender lamb and rice was superb and so moist. The BBQ crispy kofta was very tasty. The naan bread was crispy and very average shame they weren't Nana's. Salad was okay. No sauce given apart from ketchup from tubes. Asked for tea but the waiter got busy. Later was given it but tasted very strong. Cash payments only but saw some local customers using card also. I would visit again as this place looks like a hidden gem...
Read moreI have been coming here for months, and the food is still good. However, last time as I went there, I asked for 1 kebab because that is enough for me. But they brought 2 Kebabs, and I thought maybe they have misunderstood so I told them.
They said the system has been changed, and 2 kebabs are minimum order, and I insisted that it is too much and I just need 1 kebab. They changed the order for me, and I had 1 kebab.
However when I went to the cashier, he charged me for 2 KEBABS while I had one. I paid £12 for 1 KEBAB. The prices on the menu is definitely not the real price. In the menu it is £6.5 for 2 kebabs. Also they don't take card payments. only CASH
That is so expensive for some people and Not everyone is rich like you, and you have to consider that. Why I should be paying double of...
