UNDER BRILLIANT NEW MANAGEMENT!

From the moment we walked through the door Ibi was warm and welcoming. He explained that the restaurant was under new management and I have to say the place was immaculate and very nicely done out.

My Wife had a mild Chicken Tikka Masala which was cooked exactly to her liking - she enjoys a curry but is always scared of the spice levels and her choice of dish was perfectly done.

I initially wanted the same dish, but after talking with Ibi he recommended a slightly different style more suited to my taste and boy was he right.

I had an Asian Style Lamb Tikka Masala for a bit of extra kick. The spices were well balanced and not too overpowering but still extremely flavoursome.

The meat (both lamb and chicken) were real tikka, properly done and not just normal meat thrown in the pan like a lot of places try to pass off. Both meats were tender and flavoursome and I'll likely struggle to pick which one I want next time since they were both so good.

Really, really impressed with Ibi and the lads at Mirchiz. We will definitely be back soon and would definitely recommend you give this...

Ordered a Chicken Rogan Josh, Chicken Tikka Pathia, Garlic Naan, Mushroom Rice and Fries at 6:11pm 18/12/2022 after an hour of no delivery we contacted the restaurant who told us the order was out for delivery and would be with us within half an hour. Half an hour later we heard nothing so called again and they said it's out for delivery and will be there any minute. We called again at 8pm and 8:30pm to ask where our food was and had the same response. At 9pm we called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager where they then hung up on us. We contacted food hub who handle online orders on behalf of Mirchiz to ask for a refund and they told us after speaking to the restaurant Mirchiz had LIED that they had already delivered our order. We told food hub that it was never delivered and they said they’ve spoken to the manager who has told them he will be in touch with us about our order, conveniently enough 5 minutes before the restaurant is due to close. Me, my fiancée, Dad and step mum came here and we had poppadoms and the only good condiment was the onions as the mango chutney didn’t taste like mango chutney at all the riata I don’t like anyway but the other one I couldn’t work out what it was but it was so high on vinegar then there was nearly an hour between the poppadoms and our mains and I had a chicken and king prawn bhuna and mushroom rice now the curry could’ve been a lot hotter it was like the curry had just been sat around in the kitchen just cooling down for ages and the rice was hard as rock the only good thing about my main was the naan bread so I’m awfully sorry but I’ll not be coming here again nor would I recommend it to anybody and I’d rate this 2/10 and I even think that’s too high for...
