Second visit to eat in Pot of tea and Victoria sponge cake was ok had better especially for 350 or 375. The lady who served me was working slowly she took few orders and passed me gave my order then went to the next people; Only been twice for take away. I went in and decied to get the chips which were fries, their gave me a good portion but for 3 pounds to expensive I think no more then 2 or 2.50 as people are not charging that much for fries. I then bought a Fanta Fruit Twist for 1.50 shouldn't be more than one pound. Not expensive but charging slightly more for chips, samosa etc it's not even a considered a posh or fancy area but I like it around there. Leather seating was flat and the table was high up not good for my back condition. Then I moved to the wooden seat which was not comfortable on my back. One or two students were talking loudly and bit busy. No menus on the tables. Could put more on the menu as I think not everything is on the menu. Eg off the menu as some people don't put everything...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Mazzika 555 Cafe, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! A friend had recommended this place, specifically suggesting I try Hisham's expertly crafted cortado, as he's known for his expertise acquired in Italy. As a devoted coffee enthusiast, I was eager to give it a shot, and I can confidently say that it's one of the best cortados I've ever had.
The cafe itself exudes a warm and cozy atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your coffee. It's often frequented by students, thanks to its convenient location opposite the dancing college. The service was exceptional, with the team displaying a friendly and welcoming attitude that enhanced the overall experience.
What's even more appealing is that the prices for their drinks are quite reasonable, making it accessible to all. I wholeheartedly recommend Mazzika 555 Cafe to anyone in search of a fantastic cortado and a charming cafe experience. Don't miss out on this hidden gem – pay them...
Read moreHonestly, the best coffee in Leeds! I used to be a Costa woman, but even then, I didn't particularly 'enjoy' the coffee. It was just a grab a coffee habit. Just nice, ordinary coffee. Here, it's a cafe with the vibrant flavours of Italian, Moroccan, and English cuisine. Fresh coffee beans are brewed and roasted. Quality here is very good and even made with intention.
You get a loyalty card, too, and there's plenty of seating inside and out. Multiple selection of food from sandwiches - veggie and meaty, samosas, and pizzas with snacks, cakes, and refreshments.
Staff here are all lovely and kind and take interest in your day. Well...
