Placed an order for collection. Was given to me in a big black bag and I went home. Once checking the contents at home the chips were missing from the order. I contacted the food hub app and stated my chips were missing and they said I needed to contact the takeaway. I contacted the takeaway and was told the chips are free that come with the curry and they wouldn’t refund me for them. They said they can deliver them for me (I live 10mins drive away in Wakefield) I said I’m not going to be high priority am I with receiving my chips as my meal is already going cold so will be useless. They said that’s all they can do. I complained back to food hub and after stating I work at the care home also and use them every month and spend over £50 weeks will go elsewhere. They then said they will deliver the chips and refund me £2.00. I won’t be ordering from here again as clearly customer service means nothing. 30mins later and my chips still haven’t arrived so I’m guessing they won’t be getting delivered. (I also have cctv around my property just in case they say “we tried delivering but you didn’t answer”) as that’s happened before. What a waste of £18.40. Having eaten here for a few years i can give an honest review. I'd say they're always very busy so if you want fast service then it's better to go into the shop then to order on any of the delivery apps and sites - as when you do its always slow. But in person it's always fast and efficient. The burgers are a bit meh, they're alright but they're just a bit lacking on toppings. The calzones are massive and tasty but the pizza is what i go back for. It might not be everyones taste in pizza , as the thin base isn't actually that thin but I personally really enjoy them. My father in law really likes the milkshakes and sometimes we get ice cream, which they have really nice flavours. The staff are always really friendly, the atmosphere is what it is. Food is always cold. When we rang to complain about this the staff was extremely road and refused to believe that the food was cold. Everytime we've ordered from here we have to put the food in the air fryer to warm it up as it's that cold. We have complained about the cold food a few times but it's always still cold. We were just shocked at how we were spoken to when we complained. Very rude customer service. Instead of rectifying the issue, we were told the food can't be cold. Pizzas are very nice, but just always cold. Chicken fillet in pitta was appalling, chicken wasn't even in the pitta and pitta was all ripped with the sauce all over it rather than inside it.
