King of Spice — Restaurant in Lichfield

So here wagwarn for 1 star an ting. Me n my breddah were on a big wing moon hype bit my man and gis sauce were like na na king of spice is pukkers n they do a fat deal. So after a bit of persuade we was lime yeye my g bring up the big menu an that. Long of the short was 6 man deep and all had main and starter, and cus im a chunky lad n like me snappa decided on a bag of the kings finest chips the bill racked in just short of 60 sheets... im thinkin to me self cant wait be pukkers this n car moan for a 10spot... how i wish wed have told the king to keep his spice! He forgot me chips!!! Ya mite tink to ya self, this no propblem big lad wich in all fairness it wernt, but me mans sauce rang up to say hed forgot me chips n the ethnic lad on other end of phone was a right plonker kept shoutin u didnt order chips when i did! After a bit of verbal for 10 minuets boss man comes on the phone and says hell send me a bag but theyll be an hour at LEAST! After waitin an hour n half for a curry in first place! The meal was sub par, customer service terrable n it took that long to get here i had a bowl of rice crispys to take the edge off my hunger pains! Never ever again useing this place after Being a loyal customer for so long! Very disapointed... STAY AWAY MANDEM!!! go india spice up sankeys instead unwont be dissapojnted there i tell theeee! Or just go with ya first idea n...

Ordered at 9:12 and was told our order would be with us for 10:30, had a text at 10:20 saying it’s on its way.

called at 10:45 as still hadn’t had the order to be told “it should of been there at 10:30, they should be there soon” we waited till just before 11 to call back again which is when they was closing to be told again “ it should of been there at 10:30, he’s probably there look out your window” and he still wasn’t there.

Food finally turned up at 11:20, meaning it would of been “out for delivery” for a hour if they had actually left when the text was sent.

Also very overpriced for a can of coke out a multipack, definitely won’t be ordering again. Unfortunately I paid by Apple Pay, else we would of cancelled the order all together after it...

This is such a little gem 💎, it's the best curry I've had in years . Everytime coming here , the food is extremely good quality and can't wait for next visits ...it really is amazing , being a brummie gal, I've experienced good quality curry's,but this really does knock any curry I've had out the water...the service is excellent and such a lovely atmosphere....if I could give it more of a score than 10/10 it's defo worth it ... if your looking for an excellent curry look no further ....I'm only gutted I've not been sooner ...and plus they have offers through the week and wkends ...Sunday to Thursday 4 course meal £12.95 and Friday and Saturday £15.95, take your own...
