We booked a party of 9 for new years eve to sit @ 19.45 pm. On arrival it was already clear that the restaurant was overbooked and woefully understaffed.. We ordered extortionately over priced drinks, twice in the period tgat we were waiting to be sat. Finally nearly an hour later we were seated. They had a modern music DJ playing music, that was that loud you had to shout at each other, complaining about lowering the volume made no difference. By nearly 21.00 pm we still had not been asked for our starters, which came out @ around 21.25 pm, we were on the verge of walking out. The starters arrived luke warm, which we all scoffed down as we were starving, we were promised that our main dished would follow soon, I ordered a bottle of house wine and 2 pints of lager, £32.00, what an absolute rip off, the wine was exactly the same as bottle from Tesco @ £7.00. Mains still hadny arrived so the party bookmaker complained again, to our absolute disgust the manager bought out a complimentary side dish of salad as a token gesture, we were astonished. Our mains arrived just after 22.00 pm, to add insult to injury, everyone's chicken dishes were undercooked and some raw in the middles. I had had enough, so walked out with my partner. I'd spent £70.00 on drinks that were worthant half of that, the party booker who had paid a £50.00 deposit went to the reception/till to sort things out, the manager was rude and seemed un - sympathetic, and told usbthat we were banned, what a piss take. None of us will ever return there again. A real shame as the venue looked nice, and were were all looking so forward to seeing in the new 2024 year, instead it was ruined.
I cant find how to edit your response, so I will have to add my reply to my original posting.
Who ever has replied from Pasha, get your facts right. 1, our party was for 9 not 14 as in your reply. 2, Table booked for 19.45 pm not 19.00 as you claim, we arrived just before as is customary wherever you eat. 3, Chicken was pink as stated and several other customers who we spoke to also complained. 4, At no point was I or my partner rude to any of your staff, nor did we swear. 5, The only factual part of your reply was that the original table booker paid a £50.00 deposit, that is correct. 6, The £70.00 I personally paid was for myself and my partners drinks which can be verified by my bank transactions,
Everything that I have written is correct true and justifiable, but hey you can refute it, we know the truth, that's what matters, and many other people that night do...
Read moreThe last time we attended The Pasha was on the opening afternoon, when everything was very good. Difficult for the owners and staff, as all were working together for the first time, as were the Chefs. However, that first experience was very good. The food, service, ambience and quality of everything that day were very good, but I knew matters would get even better. There was nothing whatever to complain about, we had a wonderful afternoon.
On Friday, my wife and myself revisited to see how matters had progressed. Well from being very good they were now first class. From visiting the Bar area on arrival with a full range of drinks, to being seated on our table for two we had an excellent evening. We visited as I say on a Friday at 6.30pm. It was busy, the majority of tables were full but no one was waiting,to either have their drinks or to queue for food. The Lamb Chop Starters were to die for, as was the Fish Pakora. The choices seemed endless, as did the choice of main courses. That is without mentioning the deserts and the chocolate fountain. (Not for me as a diabetic) but plenty for everyone.
Well has it changed. From very good to excellent. I can’t remember all of the staff names, but I remember Reg from behind the bar, Beckie and Ramon our waiters and AJ in charge. Thank you all and everyone else who I have not named. Susie and I will be back soon. Please keep doing what you are doing, as you are doing it so well. We had a wonderful night and a great experience. Thank...
Read moreWould give no stars but I can’t so… First time at the restaurant, let the man who took our order know I was vegan and he said it wasn’t a problem, ordered my food. My curry came and I emptied the contents of the bowl onto my plate and started eating. HORRIFIED to come across a piece of chicken.. never come across this the 10 years of being vegetarian or 6 years of being vegan, how can you be so careless to let something like this happen? I wouldn’t of been so upset if it wasn’t for the waiters reaction when I told him he simply went ‘no problem I’ll get you a new one’ well no it is a problem and I wouldn’t eat anything that come from the kitchen again anyway so I kindly just asked him not to bring me anything else and left it at that. He comes back after and eventually I get a sorry, he then proceeds to tell me not to worry he shouted at his chef? How is this professional? It gets worse, my dad then intervened to let the man know what has happened is really not ok, the same waiter then tried to make a joke out the situation with my dad infront of me and continued to talk about sorting him out with drugs if he needed any? Again insanely unprofessional and judgemental from his behalf I felt extremely uncomfortable. WILL NOT...
