This is a standard Starbucks but with a drive through. It's in a very strategic position very close to one of the major routes in and out of Lincoln and also to a largish housing development. It's very popular and does a brisk trade. On my visit yesterday I found it suffering under a severe handicap so possibly this wasn't the best time for a review but here we go. The staff are polite, helpful and friendly and work hard.The service is slanted towards the drive through so indoor customers sometimes wait a little longer. There seemed to be slightly fewer staff available, possibly due to Covid and there was no food available except crisps biscuits and nuts as there had been no delivery. Drinks were available but only with whole milk. Most of the unoccupied tables had not been cleared. When I made use of the customer toilets it was obvious that they hadn't been cleaned recently and there was no cleaning schedule displayed anywhere. Read moreI had ordered Soya caramel frap with coffee base. There were 3 idiots working there. 3 absent minded/ clueless ladies. There was one one other customer other than me so they were not busy. The order was taken by first idiot second idiot made it. When the second idiot gave the drinks to me they looked completely white as if there was no coffee in the frapp. When I asked the first idiot (the third one was looking at the drink ) it looks like there is no coffee in it. The first idiot said there is extra coffee. Plz Starbucks can you train these 3 idiot ladies who were on shift at this location on the 17th Sept at 3pm. Plz get them to taste coffee and show them what does the coffee look like. They think coffee taste like milk and looks white in colour. If you see 3 ladies with too much makeup working at this location plz run in the opposite direction towards another Starbucks or else you will get milk instead of coffee. I visited Starbucks this evening with my friends for a little treat, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.
The staff member who served us was quite rude and did not seem happy to be there or to make our drinks. We ordered three drinks at the intercom, but when we arrived, we were told we had only ordered two. The way it was handled made us feel as though we were trying to get a free drink, which was both unfair and embarrassing.
Instead of resolving the issue helpfully, the staff member appeared unwilling to fix the situation, and her attitude made us feel very unwelcome. On top of this, we were also overcharged by £3, which is unacceptable.
