I have been visiting this Costa Coffee at Brunswick, Liverpool, for years, and I must say it is the exceptional staff and manager that keep me coming back. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a warm smile and a heartfelt "Good morning" or "Good afternoon." The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, and although the shop may be slightly dated, its consistent busyness speaks volumes about the service rather than the décor...
The environment is relaxed, and the team is always busy cleaning and ensuring everything is spotless. What stands out most is the personal touch—they take the time to ask every single customer if everything is okay. People may arrive as strangers or customers, but they often leave as friends...
A special mention must go to Linda, the manager, who is simply outstanding in her role. She knows 90% of the people who walk through the door and makes it a priority to check on each one, creating a sense of community and care that goes far beyond expectations. Linda runs this coffee shop with excellence, and her charity work is unparalleled, setting a shining example for others...
This Costa Coffee location isn’t just a café—it’s a home away from home, thanks to Linda and her amazing team. They are a true credit to Costa and set the highest standards for customer service. I cannot recommend this...
Read moreI am a regular Staff are amazing and lady Linda who manages it too. Its run very efficiently. They have a lot of regular customers who come there due to the service and staff. It’s like home from home. Customers always chatted to by staff. Friendly atmosphere. Love their brown toast with butter and honey with my one shot latte extra hot in a takeaway cup. I always sit in but like my latte in a takeaway cup as it stays warmer for longer. Staff make my latte exactly how I like it as they know me being a regular. They do same with lots of other customers too. Staff also always tell you what’s on special offer etc look forward to visiting every time and loads of people sit working or reading or are joined by friends. Don’t ever feel unwelcome can stay as long as u want. I always usually go on my own and it’s nice to know staff who say hi and ask how things are and I vic versa. Also, often chat with other regulars that go there. Would recommend Sefton St Costa to anyone! Well done to Linda and the staff there who work incredibly hard but can still take time to chat to their customers whilst...
Read moreAppauling service. Not enough staff on. We had to que far too long while 1 member of staff the barista was loading and unloading the dishwasher as there were no cups. So no coffee was being made and the wue was building. There was no choice of sandwiches / toasties out for sale. So we just thought they had been busy but 20 mins later the fridge was 're stocked. I had already bought something else. Which I had to return to the counter twice to remind them to warm as they kept forgetting. I asked for cappuccino they made me late' the whole visit was a mess. The male assistant didn't appear to be well and kept coughing into his arm. Not very hygienic. The tables were not cleared and we had to put dirty dishes onto an empty table so we could sit at the table. I use Costa at least 3 times per week and spend a lot of money so obviously I enjoy the coffee . May try an alternative after this visit...
