OMG we are glad we finally tried this bakery! A little gem in Liverpool- fresh pastries and sourdough! Tried their sourdough and it’s so tasty! Great flavour and chew to it! In pastries we tried pistachio croissant ( probably the best we’ve had), the filling tasted like pistachio and not overly sweet like some other bakeries where it’s usually a very sweet pistachio cream with less pistachio flavour. The second was the basque cheesecake - it was like cloud in the mouth really fresh tasty! The last one - was hands down the favourite the rye and dates Brownie - the most moist gooey and chocolatey brownie - probably the best brownie in Liverpool that I’ve tried! There was a nice flavour of a good chocolate / cacao with the most gooey centre and a slight crispy top - amazing textures and flavours! Will definitely go back!

I almost don't want to write this review so this place remains the hidden gem of Liverpool, but it's juts so good not to. The bread was truely amazing and the grilled cheese was out of this world!! Could eat that every day no questions asked. The goodness just keeps getting better as the selection of mouth watering pastries lined up is to much to resist. I would say my favourite being the bear claw, oozing with chocolate. The Pistachio Crossiant was crispy, soft and filled perfectly all at the same time. The pecan cinnamon roll had just the right amount of nuts to cinnamon ratio. I'm telling you the craftsmanship behind these baked goods where exceptional. I honestly hope this place remains doing great bread and pastries as this is just to good not to keep going back

I came here after seeing it on hairy bikers as iv lived in Liverpool fr 6 years now n never heard of it I was so looking forward to trying the fruit loaf that was shown on the programne but when I arrived at 11am thy didn’t have much left, So I decided to a jus got a cappuccino and A pain au chocolat I was so annoyed at how small the coffee was and at £3.50 it’s an absolute rip off it was thimble sized a few mouth fulls n it was gone. The assistant didn’t ask if I wasn’t sugar or anything. The pain au chocolat was a decent size £3.00 but so so greasy n barely any chocolate inside what so ever. I’m definitely not coming bk here even to try the fruit cake first impressions count n mine wasn’t good at all staff are miserable thy all look depressed.

The Wild Loaf is an absolutely wonderful spot for bakery, bread, and coffee—so much so that I’ve walked over half an hour to visit, not once, but twice!

If you’re a sourdough lover, you’ll find plenty of varieties to choose from. Their freshly baked pistachio croissant is my favorite, especially when paired with a smooth flat white.

The café itself is cozy and charming, with both indoor and outdoor seating. On a nice day, sitting outside and enjoying the sun is a great experience. However, the indoor space can feel a bit cramped when it’s busy, with people sitting and queuing. But if you enjoy a lively atmosphere, it’s perfect!

The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better.

Hope you enjoy The Wild Loaf as...
