Greggs — Restaurant in Liverpool

I have put the app on my phone so I can order ahead. It's a bit hit and miss on when it's ready. I have been to 2 different Greggs and it does feel like they had no idea you ordered online until you turn up and then they look on the screen. Staff are brilliant, they get on with it straight away and you don't wait long. So yes, use the app but be prepared to wait when you turn up. I think once COVID was over online ordering has not been as massive, so it's probably hard to remember to check the order screen, especially if the cafe is busy. I did order with a 15 minute time slot, so maybe a longer time slot might mean they do check...

Came in today 30/11 asked for bacon barm and a coffee with brown sauce and butter on my barm , the girl repeated red sauce so I corrected her , got my barm while she was making my coffee by this time big Que , no butter on barm after handling my money then giving me change she proceeded to use her swollen hands to take the hardened pigs ear type bacon off my badley buttered barm and put butter on. went to Greggs earlier as I fancied a pasty for dinner, turns out they don't do 'traditional pasties' (aka Cornish Pasties ™).
