I have put the app on my phone so I can order ahead. It's a bit hit and miss on when it's ready. I have been to 2 different Greggs and it does feel like they had no idea you ordered online until you turn up and then they look on the screen. Staff are brilliant, they get on with it straight away and you don't wait long. So yes, use the app but be prepared to wait when you turn up. I think once COVID was over online ordering has not been as massive, so it's probably hard to remember to check the order screen, especially if the cafe is busy.
