I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kome, a fantastic Japanese restaurant located in Woodford Bridge, Chigwell. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

Such a great takeaway. Extremely busy due to Uber/Just Eat orders. Nevertheless, the service is still very efficient. A place where orders are taken and pumped out quick. Staff are caring and trained well. Hygiene is exceptional, unlike some of the grubby chinese takeaways nearby.

They have mouthwatering and tasty Sushi, Dumplings and Chicken Katsu, Udong Noodles and lovely unique Bubble Teas, with Tapioca and Lychee Balls that pop in your mouth. I would also recommend the Matcha Mochi Ice Cream balls, which have a soft and rich centre but a jellylike outer coating. Leave it to melt/soften before trying Delicious.

Portion size is great. Food made before your eyes with Japanese chefs cutting sushi, using rice, avocado and other items into thin slices like as if it were an art exhibition. Highly skilled, highly recommended.

Ordered from this place through uber eats. There were two main items missed which completely ruined dinner. Got refunded via Uber eats but still spoiled the experience. When we called the restaurant they said they packed 2 bags and there was no way the items were missing. I received 2 bags without the items. They refused to help so I was not pleased with the customer service.

The teriyaki chicken bun was under seasoned. The chicken was cooked well but besides the teriyaki sauce on the outside the meat was bland.

I felt the sushi was missing the sushi rice seasoning. There was just something missing here. The salmon maki 6 pieces I ordered only had salmon in 4 of the peices. The roll was also falling apart and not rolled properly.

The cup lid for the bubble tea was opened when it arrived. It went everywhere.
