The food is reasonable and edible but not exceptional. Considering their low prices one can reconcile with the food quality. Desserts are bland and not recommended, I ordered mango and Pistachio dessert but it quite disappointing. There was no taste or flavour at all. Overall customer services is great and waiters are lovely. However, an old aged waiter with trimmed beard appeared to be bit aggressive and non friendly but may be its due to language barrier. Furthermore, he seemed to be very selective as to which diners he speaks. As a paying customer in a dine in restaurant, one expects to be treated fairly. We used to live nearby for a few years and never went there, although had heard good things about it. Then one evening off the cuff, we gave it a try and have been regulars ever since. There are very few Indian restaurants that are pretty full all week, so I always make a point of booking. We are always well looked after with a very reasonable bill and excellent food. They've been there over 30 years, so they must have got it right and I believe the decor is the original, so it's like going back to the past although no flock wallpaper, but magnificent portions.
