90 On The Green — Restaurant in London

Passed by just after the first Covid lockdown, was looking in the window when the nice owner came out with a bowl of water for my panting dogs!I decided to repay his kindness by returning at a later date, & glad I did.

As stated above, this establishment serves THE BEST burgers, it’s been many years since I’ve had one as good as this; good texture & size, succulent & with tasty compatible fillings/additions (I had the Smokey Bacon). We also had the chicken Burrito plus a Falafel & Olive Salad. Everything was good with full sized portions.

All the staff were friendly & attentive, from the owner to the chefs who I shared a joke with!

Price wise I would say the place is about average (perhaps touching the expensive side, but I have paid more for a worse experience elsewhere so I’m not complaining!)

It appeared to be clean. The atmosphere inside is cosy but not cramped; on a nice day the concertina style French door shopfront is opened which adds some airiness & continental style…with a clearer view across to the park!

My partner and I had a chicken burrito, beef burrito, Heineken and pash 'n' smoothie which was all lovely and delicious although my partner had to spit our a piece of bone from his chicken burrito. The service wasn't the best, the staff seemed quiet annoyed by our arrival which I put down to the heatwave but my politeness perked them up a little. My partner threw away the receipt as I was in the washroom but we payed £36. and something pence and the staff wrote down a serve charge by handwritten PEN INK in which totalled to £40 in which my partner payed as he is not from this country so he is unaware that this is bizarre! Luckily I was in the washroom otherwise I would've brought this up! Usually restaurants include service charge on the printed reciept not hand written! Very strange! Lovely and gorgeous food, but the mediocre service from the staff and this added written charge will not let us return as locals which is sad as the food was great. I was looking for a place with a burrito for dinner and then I found this place. I was greeted with friendly staff as soon as I came in. The interior design is nice, warmly lit and well decorated.

I ordered the Chicken Burrito. It was huge and tasty. To go with that I had the Elderflower Lemonade which was nice and sweet which went well with the burrito. It was a delicious meal.

For dessert I had the Cinnamon Waffle which came decorated with diced strawberries, sprinkled with icing sugar. Accompanied by a little bowl of chocolate sauce. Pure sweetness.

To go with that I ordered an English breakfast tea. To my surprise it came with a little chocolate in a nice little shiny silver box, when I opened it the chocolate had the '90 on the Green' engraved on it which I think looks really cool.
