Amigos Burger & Shakes — Restaurant in London

Got the “phat munch” deal - double cheeseburger, two wings, Mac n cheese bites, fries. The double cheeseburger is a very nice burger, (it’s small so if you want a bigger one go for maybe the main amigo burger or another), also simple with two cheese slices and onion and sauce, nice bun that’s soft but stays together, well balanced patty - juicy and meaty although no crispy edges like some burgers but still very good flavour and a delicate amount of fat to add flavour but can also taste the meat, not the best I’ve tried but for a local burger it’s a good option for a tasty treat. I’ve tried a lot of burgers so know what I’m looking for too. The Mac n cheese bites were also very nice, definitely better than most ones I have tried, they had something about them. The wings were tasty too, the meat fell off the bone, but not necessarily star of the show. Another good thing was they gave two free sauces in pots and two sachets of ketchup and Mayo which you don’t often get. Service...

A nice clean burger joint only 3 months old at the time of writing this review. I had the 6oz texan burger with no mustard. It was fresh and tasted great. Although the burger comes with fries and a drink I opted to switch to sweet potato fries and a milkshake for £2.50 extra each (otherwise £3 each on their own). This increased my bill significantly and I was surprised that I ended up paying over £13 for my meal, when the standard meal is £7.99. Essentially I paid £7.99 for just the burger which despite its great taste is a little overpriced.

Overall the restaurant has a nice cool looking interior with parking outside (free after 6:30pm). I've eaten at other Amigos branches and their food is the same, so it's definitely good that they are consistent. I would recommend giving it a try. Staff were very friendly and polite. Excellent quality burgers in Northwood Hills. Although the seating area is limited, turnover is quick so you'll get a seat in about 20mins or so. The service here is good with very friendly & smiling staff. The Burgers - well, you definitely have to try it yourself and you won't be disappointed. The meat burgers are full of flavour and well cooked with good condiments, and each burger meal comes with a healthy portion of fries. The chicken burgers are also well good (and moist on the inside) which make them perfect for the chicken lovers. Keep up the great work and we'll definitely be visiting your restaurant much...
