Brasseria Timisoreana — Restaurant in London

I had the pleasure of dining at Timisoreana, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm ambiance and friendly staff made me feel right at home. Compliments to the most respectful and professional waiter, MARIO! The menu offers a rich variety of traditional Romanian dishes, and everything I tried was bursting with flavor.

The sarmale (stuffed cabbage rolls) were perfectly seasoned and tender, and the mămăligă with sour cream and cheese was pure comfort food. I also recommend the ciorbă de burtă—creamy, tangy, and incredibly satisfying. And don’t skip dessert—the papanasi (fried doughnuts with sour cream and jam) were the perfect sweet ending.

Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the atmosphere is ideal for both casual meals and special occasions. Highly recommend if you want a true taste of Romanian hospitality...

Prima vizita la "Braseria Timidoreana"..în urma sugestiei unei cunostinte. Este un loc draguț si curat la o prima impresie.

Mancarea...am comandat 2 portii de peste cu cartofi taranesti si mamaligută. M-am gandit că, comandând peste am certitudinea ca va fi un preparat proaspat pregatit.

Certitudinea mi sa naruit când am mancat... Peştele meu era reâncalzit si celalalt facut proaspat ... cel reâncalzit era deja usor uscat la interior si carnea avea o alta textura se desprindea...si cel pregatit proaspat avea carnea frumoasa , rozalie si textura de peste facut proaspat.

Mamaliga....2 bucatele taiate la cutit încalzite la microunde...in mijloc era rece si marginea uscata...deci evident nu proaspătă.

Cartofii taranesti sunt facuti cu ceapa si bacon ( chiar asa ne spusese si domnisoara care ne-a servit) ..... Noi am primit cartofii taiati cubulete..prajiti probabil pe la ora pranzului si reâncalziti cand ni s-au servit noua...cu putin patrunjel deasupra...nici urma de bacon sau ceapa cum ar fi trebuit sa fie.

Cartoful isi schimba gustul dupa racire...si reâncalziti...sunt sfaramiciosi si au un gust aparte.

La desert am servit papanasi...acestia din urma au fost gustosi.

Cand am cerut nota de plata...ni s-a spus ca doar cash...am.spus ca nu ne asteptam sa fie doar cash si ca putem plati cu cardul. Evident se putea plati cu cardul...dar se prefera cash .. Am cerut bonul de la.casa de marcat ca sa vad si eu pe ce am dat banii....mi s-a raspuns amabil ca nu se poate caci am platit cu cardul..si daca pune pe casa de marcat trebuie sa treaca cash. Am zambit si am evitat sa argumentez situatia. De 10 ani manager de magazin stiu ce inseamna încasarile si cash/ card pe casa de marcat.

Am preferat sa nu ne stricam seara iesita pentru a manca ceva...si am plecat fara a le spune nemultumirea legata de mancare...nu rezolvam nimic. Daca un peşte o mamaliga si un cartof nu au putut fi pregatite proaspat...la celelalte preparate nici nu vreau sa ma gandesc, care necesita mai mult timp de preparare.

Evident ca nu voi mai reveni..dupa aceasta dezamagire...pacat ca inca se merge pe mentalitatea .."Lasa , că merge si asa".

Schimbarea incepe cu noi...

Awful food. Incompetent staff. I’m really curious where all the good reviews come from…. When the food came, the waiter spilled my drink on the table. I was expecting some apologies and another drink but the waiter just put the can back on the table as nothing happened. Order some fries and they were awful and cold. Asked for ketchup and I’ve got an empty bottle..so I have asked for another bottle and the waiter just took it and shaken the bottle to check if it was empty. Finally when asked for the bill, of course they forgot to bring it so we just sat at the table waiting. Not coming back. I don’t recommend this place.
