Burger Bois & 5 Star Chicken — Restaurant in London

Beware ONLINE SCAM ‼️‼️

I had a notification saying my food was on the way and after 40 minutes time nothing arrived wich I thought was strange as this restraunt is only a 20 minute car ride . I then had a notification saying my food had been delivered and I received nothing . So I then contacted the restraunt and asked him where my order is and he said he would contact the driver then he said the driver is in Northwood which is 8 minutes away from me and he told me to call the driver to check this is the number he gave me for the driver ( 07868651378 ) , I then called the driver 10 minutes later as it should have been delivered I even let it go a few minutes over . When the driver awnsered he sounded confused and the background was very quiet and said he is 40 minutes away ?? , and I said what do you mean 40 minutes away I have just spoken to the restraunt and they said they have spoken to you and you said your in Northwood . He then just said it’s 40 minutes away so I said I’m contacting the restraunt .

I then called the restraunt back and said that he said he’s 40 minutes away this is making no sense . And then the restraunt asked me if he’s my driver so I said “ yes you told me he is and gave me that number to call me on “ then the man on the phone said give me 2 minutes I will call him and call me back

10 minutes passed and I called the restraunt back and no one is awnsering they are just declining the phone .. I have now currently called the restraunt around ( 20 times) and had no repsonse , I have also called the driver and no repsonse . I did end up calling the restraunt on “No caller ID” and they picked up but no one spoke and the momment I said “ hello “ they ended the phone on me .

I've ordered a Meal from Burger Bois via Uber Eats but was unable to leave a rewiew there, so I'm doing it here instead. As it was the first time I had ordered from there, I wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. The Burger was one of the best I had in a long time, very juicy and with plenty of toppings that came as standard (there was options to add more toppings or leave certain things out or replace) The meal also came with a box of fries, which were properly seasoned, nicely crispy and plentiful. The delivery driver (I think was from Burger Bois and not Uber Eats) informed me that I also had additional chicken wings with my order. Those were simply fantastic, not because they were included in the order, but because they were perfect...lovely spice and fried to perfection. I was very happy with my order and the added bonus and will definitely be a returning customer and also recommend Burger Bois...

Seems like an upgraded dixy but far from it. The decor is simple and not much space to eat in (6-7 stools). I came here for the smash burger (beef was recommended) and it did not disappoint. I will say this though - the burger was small for the price but makes up in taste and quality. Chips were nice (8/10) and the buffalo wings were on point. Covered in the right amount of sauce, a little spicy, very flavourful and juicy. (8.5/10) They also do ice cream - I had banana split and my son had chocolate. Both flavours were actually good, the chocolate flavour had pieces of brownies which just added to it. Not usually one to get ice cream from a chicken shop (you'll know what I mean once you visit) but it was nice for a random treat. I will definitely be going back and if you're in the area and like smash burgers (BEEF ONLY! I haven't tried the lamb or chicken smash so cant say anything about them) do give it a go, you will not be...
