Burger Joint Restaurant — Restaurant in London

AVOID!!! Worst customer service I’ve EVER experienced. Called up to place order, was told 30 minutes, got to shop 30 mins later, told it wasn’t ready and to allow an extra 10 minutes. I ended up waiting over an hour (this is the 3rd time this has happened but I went back because their burgers were nice). Collected the food to take home - I live 10 minute drive away, only to realise when I got home that they’d given the entire wrong order - I don’t even eat beef and it was the most basic beef burger I’d ever seen. Called back and was told to come back to the store and food would be ready - explained I didn’t want to wait another hour, was told that it would take 10 minutes this time and would be ready when I arrived - it wasn’t. When I got there, I was told to wait another 10-20 minutes (so vague), showed them the incorrect order and told them it was unacceptable to make me come all the way back after having waited over an hour for food before only to find I’d have to wait again. The man looked at me without speaking, opened the till and threw £20 at me and walked into the back with my food without so much as an explanation. Firstly I paid by card and then the man refused to even come out again, ignoring the ringing phone and me and I just left very very dissatisfied. Will NEVER EVER be ordering...

So dissapointed. I have previously left a really good review when the store first opened a couple of years ago. The service and food quality was really impressive despite being pricey which kind of made you feel a little better because you paid for good quality unhealthy junk food. I don't know if it is under a new management but I would not order here again. The reviews in general seem good but please be weary when they were added. My order took over 45 minutes to prepare. I called twice before enquiring if the food was ready before waiting outside for kerbside pick up. When I got there it was another 10 minutes. So you can understand why I am pee'ed off a little. When I got home the donor was not included and called again for it to be delivered. I did not want any vouchers or discount. Not impressed at all. Now the quality of food is not worth the money you're asked to pay. The chips were double cooked, meaning it was cooked then refried to make it hot for delivery. The donor was laced over the top so you ate soggy chips. No 'special' sauce. Just Heinz ketchup and mayo. The salad had no cucumbers. The burgers were ordinary. Rubbish experience.

I got the signature joint box. £10. Burger, 2wings, chips and doner.

Burger: Everything added to the burger was nice. The sauce was nice. The gherkins, salad, and the bun. The actual meat patties tasted bad. They tasted old and a little smelly.

The wings: Absolutely laughable. I could make these at home myself. It is literally covered in supermarket breadcrumbs and fried. That’s it. No flavour, nothing like a chicken shop.

Chips: Overdone. I was able to eat 50% of it.

Doner: I was under the impression that the doner meat was going to come cooked, like with onions and sauces/spices. It didn’t. This doner came just as it is cut off the skewer. Not cooked with anything, just cut and put in the box. On top of that it was dry and crusty.

Sauces: Chilli sauce was poor. Tasted like curry chilli powder mixed with ketchup and mayonnaise. Garlic sauce tasted like nothing.
