Would not stay again.

The staff were very unwelcoming, firstly, I was made to feel as if I was a burden. They also did not have the key to my room when I got there (at 3.30pm) and asked me to stay in my room and not leave until they found it.

There was a menu in my room stating food is served 6pm-9pm Monday-Thursday however when I asked for food that night they seemed mad that they had to cook. The food was also very mediocre when I did get it, very obviously all frozen and thrown together with little effort.

Cleanliness wise, again, not good. It was very dusty and the bathrooms were unclean, one of the two toilets was unusable (no water in the bowl, but a lot of human waste...yes, really) and it was like this the whole time I was there.

Even for just £25 per night this was well off the standard I would expect for accommodation. Would...

Superb little boozer. Met a mate there for a beer, never been there before. I think this is what people that don't go to pubs imagine an old English boozer is like...punters respectful and polite, ok prices, lots of chatting and laughter, everyone welcome. Old fashioned English pub. Remember pubs like this from years ago. Yes dodgy music and staff were busy.

Would I go again/recommend? Absolutely... going to take more of us next time.

Location is subjective of course but for me, walk 10 mins, train 8 mins, walk 2mins for a hidden...

The members of staff here are horrible to their customers. They decided to close early on a Sunday (before 7pm) and hurriedly kicked us all out because they seemingly couldn’t be arsed anymore! I went with my boyfriend and I gave him a little kiss but the owner yelled at us (very rudely) to “get a room” and “hurry up and get out”. Disgusted. Will never come here again, truly the worst bar experience I’ve ever had. Apologies to the one bartender woman who seemed nice, the rest of this place...
