Club 182 — Restaurant in London

Extremely extremely rude owner. Owner was’nt aware there were guests at the door waiting to be seated. I politely said there are guests and he said ‘you don’t worry about them ..and no need to remind him of it’ - A polite educated owner would have replied do very differently..

Secondly, elderly member with us dropped his phone just below his seat and it was picked by the staff and handed over to the owner. We kept looking around and when asked the owner who was already furious said nothing handed !!!!! We managed to see the phone !!!

When the bill arrived there was a charge for two extra items!!!

This was our personal experience and at times it is not the bad food that deters you from going back to a restaurant.. it is the service and the manner in which the owner and its staff conduct themselves …The owner, Mr Singh thought he...

Not been here for well over 15 years atleast, but visited because we got a bit bored of going to the same Indian/African food places. Although it has changed hands a few times since my last visit, and got a nice refurb, I must say the food was to its usual high standards. Very good. We love our meat Samosas, but find the african style ones we like are not usually sold by anyone. The Regency is the only place that is close, but these had more flavour and were filled to the brim, tasted very good, but could do with more Garam masala, onion and chillis in them if I were to give some advice. When I saw the staff I thought the food would remind me of the taste of Punjab, unfortunately it was far from it.

Cobra tastes the same whether you have it here or anywhere else. Decor and staff are acceptable hence the two stars.

Food was terrible though and the reason why is below hara bhara kebab - seemed to have been fried from frozen, all different shapes were not even round. paneer pasanda - nothing of pasand in it. too chewy they used poor quality paneer malai kofta - too hard, should have been soft and nice. they just seem to have a standard gravy for everything dal tadka - was definitely not freshly made.
