Unfortunately if I could give zero stars I would. A group of 5 of us, accompanying our friend as she moved back home, asked to be seated for food and drinks to enjoy a last meal together. Firstly we were told it would be 5 minutes, and then the staff walked away and were nowhere to be seen. 10 minutes later, I flagged down a staff member, who said “we have no tables, we were going to seat you over there but there’s someone vomiting there”. I asked her to repeat herself because I had surely misheard, but she repeated, “Yeah someone’s vomiting and it stinks” and then laughed. Regardless, I asked if we could instead sit at the other section of the restaurant with many empty tables, but we were told “that’s for the cafe customers only”. I feel like if there’s a biohazard in your restaurant and a line 10+ people deep, maybe you’d abandon protocol for a little while, but maybe that’s just me. Anyway, we got seated at bar stools, and were assured we’d have a table ready in 5 minutes. You guessed it, 20 minutes later and no table. I had to flag someone down again to ask about the table and also order drinks, as we hadn’t been asked and we’d been there about 30 minutes now. This is an airport terminal, and luckily we’d arrived with good timing, but surely speed of service should be a concern in this context… So finally a staff member walks us to our table, to find that a family on the neighbouring table had pulled our table to theirs to expand their dining space. Not their problem, as these tables are abnormally small, but just gives you some idea of the lack of communication and service at this place. The two waitresses start arguing in front of us about who is having the table. My friend’s flight is leaving in two hours and we haven’t even ordered food yet. So we finally sit down, wait another 10 minutes, still nobody approaches us to take our order. I take it upon myself to flag someone down (for what feels like the hundredth time), and he takes our order and repeats it back to us. Great, we are getting somewhere. No, I spoke too soon. Three of of the five’s meals turn up, and then the two chicken burgers we order are presented to us in the form of a beef burger. The server says “here are your chicken burgers” and we query “isn’t that a beef burger?”. He says “No, it’s chicken”, but then looks at what he is holding and realises that it is, in fact, most definitely beef. He rushes away with the plates and no further explanation. 10 minutes later, we flag him down and ask what’s happening as our friend’s flight is drawing closer and she has yet to eat, for him to explain they’re remaking the chicken burger. Spoiler alert — they never arrived and my friends never got to eat. When it came to paying the bill, they at least had the discretion to remove the service charge, but my bill still accounted for my friend’s burger and drink (which I had ordered for her and he assured them would be removed from the bill). I of course had this removed and just paid my portion, as we were in a rush and my friend’s flight was now looming. This cast such a damp spell on what was meant to be a last meal together with friends. Service was abysmal, food was extortionate (£21 for the driest chicken burger I’ve ever had) and staff do not care. I implore you to save your money and dine literally anywhere else...

I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. There is an older female staff member with glasses who treated me completely differently from how she treated local customers.

Before visiting, I had read some reviews mentioning discrimination against Chinese people here, but I didn’t really believe it. Unfortunately, after today, I do.

When serving local customers, she stood politely right at their table, speaking in a very respectful manner. When it came to me, however, she shouted across the table instead of approaching me, which felt extremely disrespectful.

The most shocking part was during payment. For the table next to me, she was very polite and courteous, carefully assisting them with the payment process. But when it was my turn, she simply slammed the card machine on the table, dropped the receipt, and walked away without saying a single word.

I waited for a while, feeling very confused, and then she suddenly raised her voice, telling me to “press the machine and operate it.” I’ve been in the UK for a long time, and I’ve never encountered this before — usually, I just tap my card and it’s done, no extra steps or shouting involved.

When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told that I had been “very rude” to her. I was honestly shocked — I had been smiling the whole time and patiently waiting, even though the restaurant was busy. I asked them to give me an example of my supposed rudeness, but they couldn’t explain or provide any details. In the end, they said nothing and just walked away, leaving me completely speechless.

It’s truly disappointing and frustrating that in an international airport in London, I would experience something that felt so discriminatory. I sincerely hope the restaurant can respond here and clearly explain what exactly I did that was considered “rude,” so I can understand and improve. Otherwise, this experience only convinces me that discrimination really...

Please co-pilot, try harder. Service was non-existent and the food was nice, but a little steep considering the lacklustre service. On arrival I saw the electronic tables and thought I’d sit at one of those as a lone traveller looking to kill some time (these would be GREAT with kids)… but I wanted a hot meal, and it seemed you could only get pastries/takeaway type stuff at these. Re-entered the main part and asked for a table for one (as no-one had come to the entry pint to seat me, regardless of the “please wait here to be seated sign”). The waitress looked thoroughly surprised that I wanted a table for one, even tho I saw multiple love travellers doing the same. She wanted to initially seat me at a large table for four, but I pointed at a freshly abandoned booth for two and she huffed and said “ok”. On sitting I was disappointed the menu that was given to me was different to the one on the website, missing the dish I had in mind. Instead I went for the grilled chicken which came with seasoned fries. Chicken burger was good. Fries were ok, mostly due to the seasoning. Once the first few with seasoning were gone the rest were mediocre at best. The waitress asked if I wanted a drink with my meal, I told her just tap water please. This never arrived. WHILE I was stop eating (fork in hand putting fries in my mouth and fries still on my plate being eaten!) the waitress lifted my plate to take it away and said “Finished?” this is the hugely of rudeness as I then had to place it back down stating clearly not- fork still in hand. When she brought the bill it was without words then dropped the receipt on the floor and left it there. Won’t be returning for...

Alright listen — if you ever find yourself in T4, hungry, tired, and just trying to survive airport chaos, do yourself a favour and head straight to Co-Pilots Bar and Kitchen. But let’s be real — this isn’t just about the food. This is about Furqan — the woman, the myth, the five-star service queen. From the jump, Furqan greeted me like I was royalty. Not the fake kind. The real, “your comfort is my priority” kind. I asked for a table, she gave me peace of mind. I asked for a drink, she gave me a whole vibe. I blinked and the food was there — like some kind of hospitality magician. This woman doesn’t walk — she glides. Calm. Confident. Radiating that “I’ve got this” energy. You ever been served with such grace that you question your own personality? That’s what Furqan did. She made me want to write a thank-you card to her manager and her ancestors. She handled a packed floor, special orders, and even a jet-lagged customer meltdown — all without breaking a sweat. I swear, if airlines had Furqan’s level of service, we’d enjoy our delays.

Who would've thought an airport diner could restore faith in humanity—or at least in terminal cuisine? Yet here I am, singing praises for the one spot that defies the unwritten law of dreadful, overpriced airport food. At the ungodly hour of 7 a.m., the staff were not only awake but genuinely friendly and attentive. The place was spotless, thoughtfully designed with plenty of seats equipped with plug sockets. It's almost as if they knew travelers are perpetually in need of a charge, both electric and caffeinated. Now, let's talk about those eggs Benedict. The yolks were perfectly runny, cascading over the muffin like culinary sunshine. They tasted so divine, I contemplated missing my flight just to prolong the experience. Highly recommended. If more airport eateries stepped up their game like this, I'd start arriving extra early just to dine. Maybe delayed flights wouldn't seem so bad after all.
