*AVOID AVOID AVOID * These are facts not just a rant!
Firstly people be very aware and if you’re after a quick sandwich or bite to eat. Bring your own and absolutely AVOID Pret A Manger.
Pret, you should hang your head in shame with the outrageous, disgusting prices which only take severe advantage of travellers. You might counter that no one has forced my hand but essentially it has been because there are no other sandwich shops or places to grab a quick bite in T4. It’s no wonder Pret is no longer the darling of the high street and fast dwindling. You'll also likely send a bog standard response rather than taking time to address these points
Food: Overpriced, mostly mediocre sandwiches
What I liked:
• N/A
What I didn’t like:
• Outrageous, advantage taking prices • Dry, uninspiring sandwiches • A small still plastic water bottle £2.15, yep £2.15! • Crisps for £2.05 - yes £2.05 for a small bag!! • A coconut bite - literally a bite for £3.10!! • Dirty service area • Dried out ‘hot snack’ cabinet • Dull, outdated interior • Indifferent customer service (too busy chatting amongst themselves and not particularly friendly) • DO NOT FORGET you’ll also be charged an additional 20% VAT on most items if you want to sit down yet if you take two steps away you can sit without paying this. Absolutely defies logic.
Do I recommend going? NO Will I go again? NO Was it good value?...
Read moreAppears I had a better experience than others. I think for a super busy airport branch located past security with limited other options in terminal 4, they need to have a better variety and more stock. Huge open branch but as I said busy. Your better off taking out whatever you purchase. There are loads of seats in the airport. My iced black americano was fine and the Scottish Smoked Salmon sandwich was simple and delicious. The gentleman that served me was pleasant and friendly. I was served quite quickly. However, lines were so long. Two members of staff serving and one making drinks on a busy Thursday before Easter when people need to catch flights. Come on? Prices are just a joke. With limited other options, what choice do customers have? I am not the first to comment on this. Pret are reading the reviews, yet nothing is done. I expect the same 'I am sorry' but I would rather they listen to customers and implement more reasonable prices, better variety and more staff at...
Read more6.50pm. Ordered a cup of tea and a toasted sandwich. The female manager served me. When I opened the lid for the tea cup I found that there was far too much milk. I waited for 5 mins and it was simply flooding with milk. So I took it back to her. She asked me to bring my tea back which I did and she then said to me that I should ask for little milk. I said that you should know how to make tea. I heard her saying to the other waiter that she does not care when I was going to the table. This time there was just simPly not enough milk. I took it back to her and asked her to drink it herself. I did not even eat her toasters. Went to Costa. What a difference. Milk was served in a small pot. This manager should be sacked instantly with her rude attitude she needs to go on further training for customer service although I doubt very much if she...
