Costa Coffee — Restaurant in London

Most times service here is good and coffee is ok. However last week I witnessed an incident that left me disappointed with the staff. One customer ordered a cup of coffee, but didn't have enough money to pay for it so reordered babyccino. Another customer infront of him received a free cup of coffee made by mistake, so he gifted it to the guy who didn't have enough money to pay for his. The staff saw it and refused to serve him his babyccino saying he already got coffee for which he didn't pay for. Let me tell you, you lost ownership of that cup of coffee when you gifted it. It was an unconditional gift therefore a person could then do whatever he wanted to do with it. Drink it, pour it out, gift it to somebody else, which he did and so on. You had no right to withdraw babyccino from a customer just because he was gifted a drink from another customer. All that power-tripping was completely unnecessary! Get a...

Ongoing frustration with Click & Collect at Costa Northwood Hills

I use the Costa Click & Collect app often, but the Northwood Hills branch seems completely out of sync with it. Items marked as available are often out of stock, while unavailable ones are sitting right there on the shelves.

It’s a recurring issue that defeats the whole purpose of Click & Collect — instead of convenience, you get confusion and wasted time. And if they don’t have what you ordered, the store won’t refund you. You have to go through Costa Customer Service, which is slow and needlessly time-consuming.

It’s ridiculous that a national chain still can’t get app-to-store communication right. Please fix it — customers shouldn’t have to chase refunds for orders that...

the coffee was so sour and didn’t look like a cappuccino it was very sour water with foam… disgusting 🤮 cappuccino should be creamy not a long coffee full with water and no taste and very sour…. 3,70£ for a small cup where was looking huge… in centre of london you have a choice of the best coffees at this price…. come on, guys really? get a proper staff to learn making coffees and do proper customer service because is rubbish, they don’t know how much change they have to give you and you put them to make coffee… hire professional barista trained in coffee making….and serving the customers properly…. 0 service,no customer service,...
