Darjeeling Tandoori — Restaurant in London

First time visited this Indian. Really bad experience as although I came in as a walk in which wasn’t really appreciated firstly, I got put by the window as a solo diner. No issues with that. First problem came when my starters main and sides were all delivered at the same time. Not my usual starter followed by others. Hence main food for cold quickly.

But my main issue is that a large family or group of people came in whilst I was trying to eat my food and about thirty people were just stuck at the bar area screaming and shouting whilst I was trying to eat. Can’t understand whilst the manager didn’t guide them to their seats as the tables were not occupied. It really put me off my food and I left half of it as I got so upset with the noise level. Please be more considerate to other guests and not just the big crews that will earn you the lolly. The worst Indian experience of hospitality in my life. Shame as the food was very good. They didn’t answer the phone until after tying 5 or so times. We ordered on a Wednesday and we live a 5 minute drive away, it still took well over an hour to deliver just 2 meals. We chased it up and wasn’t offered an apology, just told us the usual ‘it’s on its way’. The food arrived tepid and needed warming up. The food wasn’t very nice at all to be honest. The saag paneer was void of any paneer, cream/cottage cheese that every other good Indian places serve saag paneer. Darjeeling’s was just spinach mixed with oil and cheddar cheese. Ordered a takeaway. I was told that the restaurant was busy and delivery will be at least 1 hour. I agreed to this. I called 1hr 15mins later and they told me the driver left 10 minutes ago. I called again 1 hr 45 minutes and they told me the driver had left. The food arrived close to 2 hrs. The food was cold and the Roti was semi raw. My wife had to cook it on the gas stove. The driver obviously decided that my delivery was the last one on a list of a few. Please sirs don't try and make money for future if your customer service is bad....
