I used to like eating at this place a year back. The service is good the guys at the hotel are very friendly. But now the food portions have reduced quite a bite and the price per item is high compared to quantity being served (one plate is enough for just one person, so order one plate of each dish for everyone). The biggest disappointment was that there was a fly and later a mosquito (haven't seen one of those in the UK before) hovering around the table which was really embarrassing because I took a family friend for dinner there and he commented that it felt like he was in India (he was being sarcastic!). Both experiences were poor but tonight's was dreadful. Incredibly slow service. Below standard food. Unresponsive to complaints. Not interested in keeping a loyal customer. I won't be returning. Read more26AUG18 - Having not used Flavour of India for many years I decided to give them another try; I ordered Chicken Madras Curry & Rice which was ok but a little lacking as needed more chicken pieces and more spices plus some more liquid. I would suggest that the restaurant consider offering the customer two size options including a large Madras curry rather than just the one small sized square metal container as it just wasn't enough.
