This location is probably the best one of franco manca along with the one near warren street. I love franco manca, for me, it's like eating pizza in Italy. So far, I've tried only two excellent restaurant options in London, and this is one of them. The dough is nice and tender, tomato sauce is well seasoned and the different cheeses are just delicious! Plus, it seems to be all very organic and the quality of the ingredients is superb. They usually do partnerships with local farmers and award winners. Don't miss the opportunity to try the burrata as an entry or the aubergines, I believe the prices are incredible for the portion size and taste. Anyway, don't waste your money in expensive restaurants. You'd never be disappointed of this place, it's fast and delicious.

Franco Manca is specialised in making sourdough pizzas and they're very tasty. Their menu is very small (less than 10 pizzas) but they taste amazing. And you can add toppings for the usual prices. We were provided with a jug of tap water without having to ask which is nice and saves the time and request. We were also served fairly quickly. I ordered the veggie special of the day (they have an extra few special pizzas on a chalk board every day). I also got a tiramisu which was very creamy and great. Didn't taste of alcohol, which I like, and the portion was very large. All in all 2 of us paid about £28.

I love this Franco Manca. It is always clean and service is really quick. Management team is absolutely fabulous, helped us out with the pizza stamps, and nothing seemed like a problem! Pizza is obviously delicious, they have the best sourdough! I always go for number one with extra artichokes, mushrooms and olives and it’s the winner! That’s another reason why we love this location is because they put a lot of “ingredients”(usually in other central locations, they don’t put as much) and they are consistent with it.

It was a terrorising dining experience, where the manager had a bad day, and had a go on us, two families with two toddlers. In retrospect we should have left the restaurant at the beginning and avoided being the victim of a stressed manager. She was very annoyed from the very beginning. While we understand the frustration to work in an understaffed restaurant during a time of cost crisis. I think the way she treated us was abusive and manipulative. The moment we went to the restaurant, she ordered me to leave the gate area very annoyed while we were waiting for the table to be ready by another waiter (who is quite nice); she then said that the prams need to be stored in a different place (we folded to the side near toilette). She also shouted around to some staff that made pizza. She was in a horrible mood, but it was quite late and we were worried that children are hungry and getting tired, so we didn’t go away which in retrospect was a terrible decision.

We had a late lunch and toddlers were hungry, the restaurant was understaffed, we were in a hurry to order food. My friend tried to get their attention by making a hand gesture after having waited for a long time ( I later found out via google that the gesture was a provokative posture in Italian culture, but this is a fairly normal if informal gesture you do in China to order food in a street food stand.)She said loudly to the waiter that she wants us to leave asap. She also seeks to creat troubles for us by claiming that my friend pushed her while he was getting up and stood in the hall way. It feels like an endless trap we have fallen into. And the guests nearly start starring at us and with all eyes saying “you don’t belong to here”. It was this subtle thing, and helpless situation where you know that you fell victim of another person’s bad temper, she is playing a provokative game that you have lost from the beginning.

We have experienced so much race based micro aggression in life. And I am quite traumatised by this. This resembles one experience we had in tube: my husband, my self and my 3 years old were sitting in a tube, a group of 3 aggressive 12 or something years old got on, they were provoking and ridiculing our way of speaking, throwing cigarette butts to us and another Asian couple who look like tourists from the US, who looks like the typical victim stereotype Asian you will find in screen, we asked them to stop, but they don’t. My husband tells me to be calm as he said that the youth will not have any consequences for bullying but we may get into trouble if we have lost our temper to this bullying.

There were so many of such disguised micro aggression buried in daily life. At the moment I think that the best thing is probably not to go to this particular branch anymore. And in the future avoiding these people like the Reste raunt Manager...

We went to this restaurant on Saturday evening and when we finished we asked for my partner's pizza to be boxed up so we could take it home and give us the bill. The waiter/assistant manager came back with a small salad box and threw it on the table and walk away to count the rest of the money takings on another table. We both looked at each other and were gobsmacked. First it was not a proper pizza box, and he just threw it for us to do ourselves and didn't say anything. Also no bill for us, he walked off to do other tasks. We asked another waiter to help us and get us a box as said how can we put this flat pizza in a salad box and why did he not do it for us. Then the other original waiter/assistant manager came and the manager came and try to say we should fold it in the small box, we said no it's a pizza, also why are we doing it, we asked the waiter to and why we pay service charge. We also didn't like his rude attitude to throw the box. They both tried to defend their behaviour and I kept saying we are your customer, you gave us a wrong box, we do not want to fold the pizza and also why are we having to box it up and he just said nothing to us and no bill. The manager a lady, said it was a long day and not his fault, so I said it's no excuse, I am your customer and if he can't serve after these long hours he is not fit for the job. He should not have been so rude and threw the box to us. The manager was very rude and defensive to me and kept saying he was right. I will never go to this place or recommend it at all. They do not understand customer...
