Usually, I don’t feel like writing reviews but this was such a bad experience I feel like I have to. Maybe they changed the chef but the food was disappointing to say the least.
The medium rare Steak, Eggs & Chips we ordered was over cooked: steak was well done and chewy, and fried eggs did not have a runny yolk but were fully cooked. The caramelised onions that came with the dish were over sweetened making their sweetness just too much. The Tomahawk steak we ordered medium rare, was over cooked and chewy in places but towards the middle it was straight up raw. From the Sunday roast the carrots were charred and undercooked so the centre was hard and raw while having a burnt flavour on the outside. The broccoli not only smelled burnt/like charcoal but tasted like it too. On top of all this the food was bland and borderline flavourless. The only thing that was edible and not a complete disaster, were the chips.
In summary, the meats were all dry and flavourless and not worth the money even when the manager gave a 25% discount after hearing we did not...

Dinner was great in parts but too patchy. Nice starters. Bread with herb butter partly good, especially the butter, but some of the bread was dry and stale. The service was well meaning but slightly confused at times, although I know they have only recently opened. Our main courses took a long time to arrive and no apology. There is one vegetarian main course, roasted cauliflower, which was severely undercooked, almost raw, (despite the long wait) and not very hot. The broccoli side dish was lovely and good value for money. There is a DJ on a Saturday evening which was a bit loud considering...

I had the garlic butter as a sauce and it had completely separated so didn't taste of garlic unless you mixed it up again and even then it was like they'd put garlic in a dish poured the butter over and hoped it would infuse last minute. Sadly I wouldn't go again it's just not value for money. We didn't have pudding and the bill was over £100 even going for two starters and their cheapest steak. The vibe is also very weird. It's like a club trying to serve food. They also took the rubbish out at 8pm on Friday night in view of most of the tables which is just not good especially when they're charging...
