I honestly don’t even know where to begin because no words fully capture how much I love this place. I moved to Greenwich in August last year, and in December, I ordered from Grizzlys for the very first time. Since then, it’s become a part of mine and my friends lives. That first order genuinely set the standard, not just for takeaway food, but for comfort and consistency. From that moment on me and my girls have always ordered from here. Always.
Grizzlys has been there for every kind of moment I swear. After nights out, chilled evenings in, stressful weeks of studying, and even during heartbreaks. It’s not just food to us anymore. It’s familiarity. It’s our little ritual. And no matter how many times we order, the quality never slips. If anything, we love it more each time.
To even MENTION Grizzlys in a room with my girls…the entire room lights up. We all feel it. That same familiar excitement, that shared love for food that never disappoints. It’s become a name that means more to us than just a takeaway. It’s memories. Comfort. Joy. I swear I can’t even stress this enough.
The food speaks for itself. The dirty fries are unbelievable..the kind of thing you crave out of nowhere and can’t stop thinking about. The lamb chops are cooked to perfection, full of flavour and always juicy. The wings are easily some of the best I’ve ever. The entire menu is strong..
Great food, generous portions, proper flavour. No overhype, just the real deal. That kind of consistency is rare.
It might just be a food spot to some people, but for me, and for my girls, Grizzlys has become something we associate with feeling good, winding down, and sharing a moment. I genuinely admire what you’ve built. Thank you for doing what you do, and for doing it so well.
I love...
Read moreReally gone down hill of late. I have been going to the Plumstead Grizzlys since the week it opened and I am so disappointed with the service and quality of food recently.
The new staff are all quite rude and don't have good customer service skills. They allowed another customer in front of me after I had been waiting for a good 5 minutes (long order before me) and then when my food was ready, they stood around talking to each other laughing and shouting at each other. One woman who worked there was even singing at the top of her voice for the whole time I was there.
I was mostly disappointed as my food was sat under the heater for 7 minutes as they dealt with new customers and delivery orders. I would have been fine if the order was still being made, but knowing it was there and being ignored??? Not really acceptable. It took all of 30 seconds to bag up the order when they decided to give it to me.
As I say, I'm a long term customer of Grizzlys and I've always been very loyal to them, but the way their new staff act and the quality of their food (the chips are not what they used to be..) is really starting to put me off.
To the staff, please be mindful of your customers and how you behave in front of them. I can see when my order is ready and it's frustrating to have to wait for so long when it takes so little time to bag up and give to me. I say this as a long term customer who has consistently had poor experiences...
Read moreI would not waste your money here! A few years back this place was really good. We went a couple times during Covid. They had a management change and it was run by some lovely Nepalese people and we last visited about 2 years ago. Looks they have had a management change again and the food was really disappointing. I didn't even finish my meal. It was really expensive as well. £10 something for a burger, overcooked chips and awful small tins of drink. Watery diet coke. I am sure I ordered popcorn chicken and chips but we got chicken nugget and chips. Also asked for cream on the milkshake and didnt get any. I couldn't understand what the women that served us was saying, which could be why we didn't get what we ordered. My partner had a bacon burger and chips, which he liked. I had what I thought was going to be a breaded chicken burger and chips turned out to be a grilled chicken fillet, full of lettuce springs and a hot sauce, that made the bread all sloppy and the cheese on the chicken was cold and congealed. You can get cheaper deals in Popeyes, which is where I went after to get a decent chicken burger. I would never waste my time or money...
