Worse KFC experience where the staff customer service seem to be lacking. Waiting unusually long without service at cashier till where the staff just ignored me as though I was completely invisible, when the customer was served in front moments earlier. There was no acknowledgement of my presence even though I was patiently waiting in the queue in a near empty restaurant with a single order that was being prepared as far as I can see on the order system. Other customers came, waited and left because of the long wait for service. The worse happened when we dined in. There were no plates with the family bucket, had to ask for cups with the bottle drink, no straws and as per other reviews they did not give Pepsi and was just said that it's unavailable. This was fine, worse was when the restaurant began to flood from water coming from the washroom. There was a message that said it was out of order but the drivers were using it and the staff did not stop them. This resulted in the flooding and came right through to our table at speed. I alerted the staff right away (several times as well as the driver) and they were nonchalant and just began taking amongst themselves. It weren't until another 5-10mins when someone very reluctant of course came around with a mop and bucket to rid of the flood. I looked at her and she just looked back, nothing! There weren't even a sign board put up for caution of health and safety. By this time we already had to move all our things and food to another table. There were no apology for inconvenience, there were no explanation to us about the situation and the member of staff just began mopping all around us. It was so unbelievably unprofessional that we decided to take everything and leave. No one wants to clean up in that situation, but nor did any customer using the restaurant that's dining there. We were also a family of 5 with 3 children (1 baby) so there was a total disregard of health, hygiene and safety! Potentially could have been a matter of litigation if anyone was subject to any kind of injury at the premises, further training is a must and a review of management if there is any in place! Awful, truly awful from such a well know franchise...

Food arrived, 6 pieces of chicken, 4 regular fries, no beans. The chicken looked and tasted like it was a week old, the fries were soggy and cold.
We immediately lodged a complaint through JustEat, whilst repeatedly ringing the store and getting no answer. The refund was immediately refused by KFC as we "should have checked the order before accepting the delivery". £32.96 for 6 pieces of chicken and 4 regular fries is unbelievably expensive!
WHO THE HELL UNPACKS THEIR ENTIRE DINNER ON THE DOORSTEP WHILST HOLDING THE DRIVER HOSTAGE???
Luckily, I always pay for things with PayPal or via credit card for that all important consumer protection. This order was through PayPal, I got a refund through them within 2 minutes.
KFC Erith has a terrible reputation and an abundance of reviews to back it up, I can see why!

Edit 2: (12/06/2025) I've just had an email from PayPal saying that you refused a refund as you delivered the order!! Screenshot below! It's STILL not your fault for getting the order completely wrong, it's MY fault for not checking. This is the worst customer service ever! Also.. YOUR SUPPORT LINK STILL DOESN'T WORK!!!!!!!! I will never order anything from any KFC ever...
Read moreNot the best. Restaurant has recently been refurbished, however during busy times there is no one cleaning and often tables and floor often need cleaning.
The staff working have improved since they have employed people from other ethnic backgrounds outside Asian countries, there seems to be a good mixture of African and European staff.
There seems to be a consistent issue with orders, I have lost count of the times items are either missing or the wrong items in my order.
Drive through is a shambles and causes massive traffic jams, this is a serious safety issue as there is a zebra crossing outside the restaurant where many inconsiderate drivers drive on the opposite side of the road and crossing to avoid the queue for KFC. I am surprised there has been no accidents yet.

Service seems to have improved. There is a much improved Sense of urgency now when you order.
Each time i have been in there is finally someone cleaning the tables and floor. Keep it up....
