Have used this restaurant a few times, but had a really bad experience there yesterday, had booked for a party of 35 people in the afternoon.. made the booking 2 months ago and specified which tables obviously so we could all be together, called in yesterday to finalise the seating plan (2 days before our booking) only to be told they had since booked another 12 people in to our seats overlapping by 1 hour only a week ago (all separate bookings) so our party would not be seated together.... basically take it or leave it.. so we had to find another venue with only 1 days notice.... we explained that we had booked 2 months ago and specified the seating area, the owner said ' I am the owner and I need to put you in these alternate seats as nobody else wants to sit there, if you don't take them we can't seat you' Never encountered such bad service or attitude before anywhere, so sorry but you have lost an afternoon booking for 35 people and the ongoing custom of ourselves and our...

Sadly I will not me going there again Table for 6 sat 11th dec 2pm 3 times during the week I popped in to request where I would like to sit each time told of corse Arrived and table was not ready and there was only 2 tables in use. The service was poor waiter spilt water over me. 2 of the starters were Luke warm . The min corses 2 had been micro waved and we could not touch plates. And 3 of the mains were tasteless and bland The kids pizza was cold and soggy. We asked for a kids pasta We requested it not be micro waved and could it he served on a cold plate as it’s for a 2 year old. The waiter served it wearing oven gloves And it was bubbling it was that hot . Sadly later that nite 3 / 4 adults had upset tummy’s And needed the toilet a couple times.

It’s one family meal I will never forget for the wrong reasons And none of the serving staff were wearing masks I was totally disgusted with the whole experience

A last minute booking to take my father out for lunch. I hadn’t been here before , and my father had mixed reviews but I thought the menu looked good. I dont know why it would have mixed reviews, the staff and food were faultless.

We were welcomed warmly and seated comfortably by the window. We were attended to quickly through our visit, but never rushed.

Between 3 of us we had Bruschetta, Calamari and Gamberoni to start. Followed by Pesce Spada alla Sicilian (2), and Spiedini di Pesce and finished with a cheesecake , affogato and an Espresso.

My favourite dishes were the Gamberoni which was a generous portion of prawns bathing in a garlicky butter and spinach sauce, and Pesce Spada , a large piece of swordfish smothered in a rich tomato, olive and caper berry sauce with a fresh and zesty side salad.

Thank you to Casa Blanca for brightening a dreary Thursday. We will...

I've been here twice so far, once for dinner with friends and again for lunch with family and I will certainly be back. Everyone there is lovely and welcoming and the food is tasty. I wasn't a big fan of the seafood skewers...but that's because it wasn't to my taste, as the rest of our group actually loved. I prefer saucy dishes. The prawn pasta, seafood pasta, lasagne, Bolognese and pomodoro have all been a hit and the cocktail was the perfect amount of sweet and alcoholic. I have not tried desert yet, so one for next time. But would definitely highly recommend.

We ordered prawns for starter, they were really bland, carbonara pasta was nice but it is not how they make it in Italy, more like an English version with lots of cream. The sauce of the polpete pasta was tasty, however, the meatballs tasted funny, you can taste lots of flour on it. The ragú calzone was not good, bread was insipid, ingredients tasted cheap. The garlic bread was hard, no flavour of garlic and the bread was also bland. I ordered my food here cos of the goods review, maybe I am just to hard to please!
