I have been going to this resturant for few years and the waiters and waitresses are always nice which is a must for an expensive steak resturant anyway , however this time unlike the waiter and waitress , the Managress called Lara , was very mean and impolite and unprofessional and in my opinion far below the level and standard of a resturant like this
Even though we were not happy with the size of chateaubriand ( which was smaller than always ) and also the quality of kids menu steak which was totally burnt on side and over cooked inside like stone ( because their chef was all the time chatting and laughing with the managress and probably did not focus on his job ) , we still did not say anything as we wanted the be nice and just enjoy the moment . You pay about over £150 for not only one steak and sides and starters and also for the standard of the resturant and their attitude and hospitality , right ?
The managress approached our table apparently very friendly and a bit too much intimately asking how was everything ? Well I very politely gave her a feedback about my daughter’s steak ( which she called disgusting and did not eat even one piece of ) that was over cooked , The managress suddenly turned to a very defensive and argumentative person and blamed us for ordering it well done !!! On their menu the steak is described as to be well done anyway and of course the kids food must be well done but not burnt and over cooked . my wife to stop her ruin our night just said yes we ordered it well done actually , as if it’s ok . And then I said “I just informed you because you came and asked us for our feedback “ and then she replied very rudely and with a very rude tone “ we always ask “ as if : we ask but we don’t mean it and she left our table .
She definitely ruined our moment which was a shame
A professional and high level managress in this kind of situation first of all would not argue with customer on their table while they are just about to eat , not to ruin their moment , and also would think how to make customers happy which is good for business
Second of all : would try to make their regular customers happy by offering a different meal ( even we could pay for it as I had asked my daughter already and was going to ask my daughter again if she wanted anything else so I get her , in front of manager so she could offer my daughter something else ) but instead she just started to defend their burnt steak and blame us and be rude unnecessarily.
And third would mean it when she ask her customers for feedback , otherwise just DO NOT Approach customers’tables asking how everything is , if you don’t mean it . So rediculus and stupid this would look !! I am sorry to say
I still paid the big service charge which itself can be paid for a meal elsewhere only because of waiters otherwise would not have paid anything if it was because of that rude managress
The owners must think of replacing her if they want to grow the business , as I don’t want to pay my money to someone who don’t care about my daughter who is only 4 and could not eat nothing except chips , So inconsiderate and rude she was , She did not even ask if we would like to order anything or not !!!!!!!!

Read moreWe had our wedding reception luncheon at lomito Northwood for 31 people on 27th May 2022. We had the back section of the restaurant for our guests, to enjoy the lunchtime menu
Our contact/liaison was Louise Kelly and to say that she was AMAZING would be an understatement, she answered all of our questions, replied to all emails l sent and set our minds at ease throughout the whole process
Louise agreed for us to supply a list of songs for the restaurant to download on Spotify and play during our reception, this included our 1st dance song, I was also able to provide a seating chart of how I wanted the tables set out and where each guest would sit along with placement cards (which were all placed correctly on the day)
We were able downloaded the Lomito lunchtime menu, edited it to remove the prices and printed the menus on our wedding stationery which were placed at every guests table placement
I had arranged with Louise for us to drop off the Wedding cake and all of the things needed for our wedding day, the day before, and even tho she was not working this day, she made sure the staff were aware we would be stopping by to drop the stuff, we even arranged for the balloons to be dropped off the morning of the wedding, and she was there to receive them
The Guest Book table and Wedding Cake table were decorated beautifully with the items I'd provided
The restaurant decor is also great for pictures
The reception luncheon was JUST PERFECT, Louise and her team made sure all ran smoothly and like clockwork, the guests all enjoyed their meals, and many will return to the restaurant again
Louise made sure our 1st dance song was played and even faded it out just as we had had enough of being the centre of attention lol
I even got to throw my bouquet, and my now husband had the chance to remove my garter which added to the fun and jokes of the day, I think the Lomito team also found it amusing lol
We really cannot praise Louise and the Lomito Northwood team enough, and I would highly recommend Lomito Northwood for any special event or just a casual lunch or dinner

Read moreEverything was immaculate from start to finish. From booking process to adhering to my requests, they did amazingly! The room was so beautiful and I loved the added touch of being able to put our own music on as well and pre-decorate the room. The room truly had the “wow” factor and my guests were amazed by the setting of the room.
The food came in a timely manner and every single dish served was served to absolute perfection. Everyone of my guests including myself have all expressed that it was the best steak we’ve ever had and we are all big foodies. The starters were so delicious and went down a treat. The mains and sides were all completely mouth watering, succulent and extraordinary. Hats off to the chef(s).
Most importantly, the service can only be described as exceptional and absolute perfection! Taline served us all evening and she was an absolute delight and a huge bundle of joy. She gave immaculate service from start to finish, she was smiling all evening, she was happy and cheerful and she made conversation which was so nice to have. She was an absolute joy to have and I am so glad she was assigned to us. Everyone at my dinner party said the same about her and praised her very highly. Her professionalism and customer service is honestly the best I’ve seen.
I can honestly say I am really pleased with the service and my overall experience was of high quality and immaculate standards.
