I thought McDonald's trained there staff in all aspects of the company to high standards, I would actually class this branch a health and safety risk, food standards are appalling, I am pretty sure that if food goes below a certain temperature then it actually can not be sold ??? Most food items that should be hot are actually cold - health risk, unsure if products are being produced properly as most look like they have been fired into the box. Table's are left uncleaned, tables are not wiped properly (when cleaning is done), if that's how they maintain the outside I would hate to think what the kitchen looks like as staff are not well presented and are actually rather rude. I am sure that there are plenty of other people that would be grateful for a job. When I ordered food at those computers (reluctantly) i clicked pay with cash.... When I got to the collection point, I was informed that they are unable to take cash due to the exchange ????? what does that even mean, if cash is not an option then take it off, especially when people are waiting some time for fast (ish) food to be told "oh we don't take cash", it can't be due to covid otherwise there would not be such a gathering waiting. I observed orders being constantly wrong, complaints about the temperature of the food, i won't continue, they are definitely uber eats driven but, by reading reviews even that route is bad. I don't often get fast food but after this experience it's quicker (and probably safer) to wait and cook myself. I would rather a nice burger king in future if i felt that...
Read moreUPDATE Two years after my first review and literally nothing has changed! I ordered some food, left my daughter to collect it, went shopping around Asda, came back and she was still waiting for the food!! This store has no respect for customers actually instore. Still prioritising delivery orders over customers standing instore waiting for food. On top of that, when I finally received my food, I had to leave in a hurry due to waiting so long and had plans.. They forgot a double cheeseburger for my order and the lettuce in my chicken legend was just awful, all brown and limp. Absolutely terrible customer service. They have learned nothing and obviously do not care about reviews at all.
Literally the worst one I have ever been to. Takes ages to serve food and they prioritise deliveroo and uber over customers standing and waiting for ages. The service is VERY slow, do not come here unless you don't mind waiting over 15mins for food! And this was just breakfast! Only one person serving and it looks like only one person making food. And on top of everything no hot drinks except for tea!...
Read moreWent to visit Today 6/11/20 @ 10:56 I was greeted by a long queue of people with poor social distancing and a unprofessional member of staff guiding people where to stand (bunched up) to await the order or queue to use the self checkout. I asked if the DelY would he long and she smiled and said not too long but we are busy. I asked if I could order from usual menu as by time I'm served it will be passed 11 and was told no I can order breakfast or await at back of queue and rejoin at 11.
This isn't professional or good customer service and I had already been unimpressed with the volume of people awaiting to be provided the food they had ordered and the Other 8-12 people queueing to order still.
Instead I enjoyed a fresh good quality meal from Asda instore Food counter and will refrain from giving my money to the rude staff in this store
Management should have better control of the store and could and should have offered me the food I asked for as the time was due to change prior to me...
