My first McDonald's in over 6 months. I don't particularly like McDonald's but, every now and then, I get the occasional urge for something unhealthy.
The new COVID restrictions were new to me and I was very put off at first when I saw that I was expected to put in my name and address. My natural resting state is very paranoid, my motto is "trust no one" . So you can imagine the alarm bells this was causing. Still, strange days are upon us and I know that means doing things we don't like, I did my duty.
On entering the restaurant I was confronted by a very angry looking lady dressed in a shabby looking McDonald's uniform, "ere! You signed in?" she challenged me through gritted teeth. I reassured her that I had but she didn't seem to believe me "alright," she hissed. Her eyes looked like Clint Eastwood's playing Dirty Harry. I carefully backed away, watching her very carefully for any sudden movements.
The procedures continued. I grabbed a tent card denoting my position, placed my order (double quarter pounder with cheese and bacon, and a small coke zero, because I didn't want to over do it,) found a feeding stall and waited. And waited and waited. And waited.
The length of my wait allowed me to take in my surroundings. The restaurant was actually kept quite clean. There was regular cleaning going on and it looked like social distancing was being observed as far as possible. With that, and Dirty Harriet on the front door, I felt quite confident that the environment was as safe as could be hoped for.
Eventually the food arrived carried by a very harried looking lady. Not her fault. The food was everything you expect from McDonald's, nothing new there.
So there you go. I'm bored now, read someone...
Read moreOur daughter loves using the delivery service for its convenience but it's fast becoming an inconvenience when the food order arrives. The order is placed on line but McDonalds staff keep leaving out food items off the actual order. This is the 4th time I have to get in my car and go to the store to complain about items missing from the delivery. THE ISSUE IS MCDONALDS DOES NOT WANT TO TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE MISSING ITEMS. They blame DELIVEROO whilst Deliverroo blames McDonalds. To be fair we check the order with the driver and even then when the driver acknowledges that items are missing and reports to his company. They refer us to McDonalds because DELIVEROO takes the money and the order and McDonlds select the items for delivery. So I believe the fault lies with McDonalds and their staff. Paying £8-10 for a meal only to find the main part of the meal is missing eg the burger and only getting chips and a drink. Or getting the whole order but it being entirely soaked with other clients lemonade. And a complete refusal to reimburse the money or the goods back got a £35.00 order. I have now completely banned my daughter from using the delivery service because it's totally not working and a complete waste of time, money and energy with me having to end up driving there to complain with near zero results. HAS ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCED THIS WITH THE...
Read moreHello, good evening, I hereby announce a serious incident at Mc Donalds establishment 477 in Thornton Heath yesterday at around 9pm with one of the sift managers. These problems have been occurring for so long, as well as with other drivers. That's why I had to take this initiative. The person in question has the name Varusha in which she is one of the sift managers. Until now we are like a family available to serve our customers the best. Her arrogance has shown that she does not like the drivers and even humiliates the drivers. I come to appeal to try to get you to resolve this situation. Several people are being harmed because of her behavior that sometimes she even gives orders not to hand over orders to some drivers in question. My name is Moisés Júnior and this happened to me. I have worked with McDonald’s as a driver for 3 years. I arrive every day at 7 am and left around 11 pm. Not only me, but others also have families like me who are also responsible at work. I currently need a response from BM as quickly as possible. As far as I'm concerned, if this situation is not resolved, many of the drivers will not collect during her sift until this issue is resolved. If I don't have a response to this email, I will go directly eith some of the olders drivers and speak to the owner whose...
