visited swanley mcdonalds this morning. Worst possible service ever. i ordered sausage and egg muffin meal, the food came out very quickly, i had to ask for tissues and a spare bag as the one i was handed was oily. on inspecting the muffin i noticed burnt charcoal on the surface of th paty, i handed this back to the lady who was working on window. she asked what was wrong and i explained to her that 5% percent of the paty was charcoal, she went away and came back with anothe muffin and said her eyou go. i asked if that was normal and safe to eat and she replied you have a replacement, goodbye, i asked again if that would have been safe to eat, she waved her hands in the air and said i can not do this, shortly after another younger women came to the window and asked if she could help. i said i asked the other lady if the muffiin was safe to eat and she replied by waving hands in air and saying i can not do this. the lady replied she must be stressed because i aske dher a question, she also said she can not take complaints and has th eright to walk off. i asked for there names as they was not wearing name tags, she refused. i offered her some advice that she gets the other lady help as she is obviosly bring problems to work with her. i have never had this type of behavoir from any mcdonalds staff since 40 years. i can see why the place was empty, down to customer service, avoid if you value yourself...
Read moreUsed the drive through today, once i parked in the carpark i noticed 1 x medium chips was missing plus the straws for the kids, I walked into the restaurant with my receipt and requested the chips plus the straws. I was given the straws straight away, Emma the manager at the time refused to give me the chips. She wanted all the food back before handing over 1 x medium chips, the kids was already eating the food in the car, Emma was very rude and said I would need to purchase the chips again or take the food back of the kids to return it into the restaurant. Very embarrassing being accused of trying to get free food. As a family we work very hard to treat the children once a week to a takeaway. I said to Emma, please look at your cctv and you will see the chips was not put into the bag, she refused and insisted I take the food away from the children to show her the chips was missing. Out of principle I did not purchase more chips to replace the one I had all ready paid for. Personally I felt like Emma was on some sort of power trip in front of other coworkers. Read moreDrive through is priority so if you're unfortunate enough to go in store and order during a busy period you have to wait 36mins (well I did) If you order online for delivery they substitute your order with something cheaper and fail to refund the difference. I paid for a large caramel frappe and received a latte because 'the machine wasn't working'. In store staff excessively push you to carry out the online survey and enter your personal space and make you feel awkward until you do it infront of them.
