Munchies Cafe — Restaurant in London

The wait staff was incredibly rude to us. They asked us if we liked our food and when I told them we had asked for the hash brown to be on the side not in our sandwich. Two other wait staff came separately asking if the food was okay as they heard we had complained. At which point I finally said that the whole truth which was that the salmon in the eggs Royale looked blackened and the poached eggs weren’t really poached. At this point instead of apologising she goes on to condescendingly explain to me the difference between an eggs Royale and Benedict and asks me to come at the back so she can show me how it’s normal for salmon to be a bit black. As if this is the first time we would be ordering an eggs Royale. I felt irritated to have even mentioned the hash brown as literally felt attacked by the wait staff that kept constantly bothering us for having mentioned anything. Myself, my mum and my daughter have been weekly customers (sometimes twice weekly!) for the past year. The café is truly a treasure within the community. The standout feature is undoubtedly the staff. Their helpfulness and friendliness creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes us feel right at home. Their attentiveness and genuine care for their customers truly makes for a wonderful dining experience. The quality of the food is excellent. Each dish we have tried has been superb, and fully approved by a fussy almost 2 year old. It is evident that great care goes into the preparation of every meal. Don't be fooled by the name sandwich bar... they have full cafe ability and offer a great selection of foods.. breakfasts are great... vast array of hot and cold sandwiches available as well as pastries....

Although the icing on the cake is their milkshakes... pricey at £3 each but out of this world. Even if your not hungry worth a visit just for the milkshake....

Only negative is that the toilet is round the back of the shop which means walking around the block... disappointing. I don't know how they would resolve this but if the could it would definitely be 5 star ⭐️..... I feel harsh giving it a 4 but it's definitely a...
