This micro pub in Mottingham is a real gem. First visit there last night and had a superb Suggs (madness) tribute singer. The place was packed. Everyone had fun. Everyone was friendly and enjoyed the electric atmosphere. I left after making lots of new friends and I'll definitely be back for a another drink from their good selection of lagers and ales. One lager called Bexley lager was delicious and I was told it is brewed in Erith. A good selection of gins - double and mixer under a tenner, and good list of cocktails. The manager was welcoming and the lady behind the bar was efficient and happy to serve. Toilets emmaculately clean. Washbasin attached to the toilet to maximise space, but everything you would need to use in a toilet was there. This micropub has used space to max out room for punters and there's plenty of seats out front under awning in case of rain. Overall this is a fantastic place to enjoy a drink with friends or pop in on your own with a newspaper or laptop to chill out. I noticed boxed games on a shelf which are obviously for the clients to play. Kids welcome until 7. Lovely venue for locals and beyond. Food is served, but we ate before arriving so...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorth the travel and family friendly too. Took my family (incl. two young boys) and friends for lunch and with the wife driving I could sample the food and ales... lovely. Two boys were catered for with soft drinks and they enjoyed their lunch too. Staff were great with the kids so I like that its family friendly to teatime and then adults from then on, which for a micropub is quite an achievement....
