Me and my friend walked in the store and when we had we were rudely greeted by a member of staff who told us in a rude manner that the store is closed. We checked the time it was 10:57am, the store opens at 11am. So we had waited outside till we could go in. Then we proceeded, we were greeted by another member staff, took a seat and ordered. In the process of eating the same staff made unprofessional comments to her colleagues which to me seemed abnormal. I have been going to Nando’s for 2 years of different branches a loyal customer. I have NEVER been treated in such a vile manner by a member of staff. I will absolutely not return to the Nando’s in Brenswick as I will always associate that place with the nastiness of that member of staff. Her attitude to me and her toward her OWN colleagues was extremely vile. I criticise her employer who had went and hired such an immature individual as it was clear to see one was not fit to work in customer service (if she was at least). I have been left damaged as I had walked in to enjoy such a fabulous meal, but the negativity of the atmosphere eradicated all form of positivity. Read moreI should quantify this review by firstly saying I am sick with flu and haven't eaten all day, it's rare that I order or even fancy a Nandos but today I thought the spice may help me. Had I not been ill this food would have been driven straight back and I would have demanded a refund. Suffice to say I am never ordering from these people again. I should also add that this is not the first time I have been let down by Chiswick Nandos but definitely the last. Where do I start? Deliveroo delivered on time however somehow the coleslaw was upside down and soaked all over a chicken pitta, sadly the moisture from the spilt coleslaw was the closest the chicken had to moisture. The chicken was dry to a point that it was like cardboard. Whoever's cut the pitta needs to go to an optician because it was cut so thinly on top that I was faced with either a newsprint thin piece of translucent bread which my fingers went through or a mass of uncooked dough which was soggy and quite frankly disgusting. Unbelievably I have more to add in that the chips were rock hard and cold, these people can't even get chips right! The high street is famously in trouble and establishments like this do not deserve the hoards that flock to them. From now on I am going independent all the way. Very very poor quality. When I first arrived, I was told the chicken would take 30 minutes to be ready – which was fine and understandable. About 10–15 minutes later, I was told it was all good now, so I placed my order.
When the food came out, it was missing things: the Super Caesar wrap had no croutons, and the Sunset Burger came with thighs even though I had specifically asked for breast. I was told it would be sorted, but after waiting another 30–40 minutes, only one issue was fixed, while the Caesar wrap still wasn’t sorted. After waiting even longer (around 30 minutes), I had to go up myself and ask if the wrap on the pass was ours. At first, I was told no, but then a few minutes later someone confirmed it was actually ours. When it finally came, it still had no croutons.
