The worst experience I've ever had in any Nandos! Been going to Nandos for over 20 years now and this is the only time I've felt truly disgusted with the treatment we had. That too, from a manager no less. My wife and I were sharing a meal, as neither of us were that hungry. We ordered a chicken burger with two sides.

As my wife is vegetarian we asked for the two veg sides to be served on a different plate. We made this clear when we were paying, and the person taking the order said it would be fine.

When the meal came it was all in one plate. I asked for the veg sides to be made again and given in a separate plate, the person who took the food away came back shortly and told us they couldn't do it as the manager said no.

When I went to Complain to the manager she wasn't interested and said we don't serve food separately in Nandos. I told her that we had made it clear when ordering and that if they don't serve food in separate plates, we should have been told when paying.

She didn't like this and went back with the food. We followed her as we thought she might just put the two sides on another plate..... Which is exactly what she was doing.....that is until she saw us turn up at the counter.

Not the kind of service I expect from Nandos let alone a manager.

Thankfully won't have to go back there now the new one has opened in Purley.
