New Viceroy — Restaurant in London

I looooooooove this place.

Been going here since I moved back into the area about a year ago. I've had a go at a lot of the different options on the menu and regaress of what I have (Chicken, Lamb, Prawn or Fish) the food is always on point.

The food is lovely, but the staff are the real stars of the show for me. Always friendly, welcoming and attentive, thus ensuring a really enjoyable dining experience.

The last time my boys and I popped in for dinner they were extra helpful and accomodating. My eldest is a bit of a fussy eater, so he had his usual chips and plain naan. When he asked for some ketchup the waiter apologised and said they didnt have any.

2 mins later and in spite of the restaurant being very busy... we watched him fly out the door to the Co Op over the road, before returning with a jar of ketchup.

He really didn’t have to do that, but it's little things like this, on top of very good food that will keep us coming back time and time again.

Firstly the delivery was late and food was stone cold and average at best. Secondly, why the CHEF'S RECOMMENDATIONS don't come with rice and the descriptions don't specify this. When I called them up to ask about this, they were extremely rude, belittled me by saying I'm the "first person in 5 years to be confused by the menu" and hung up.

WHAT OTHER RESTAURANT ON JUSTEAT DELIBERATELY SPLITS THE CARBS FROM THE PROTEIN WITHOUT SPECIFYING IT ON THEIR MENU.

That's like me buying a 'lamb shish kebab' and getting just the meat. And they have the audacity to blame the customer.

So to summarise, dead average food that was cold, bait menu that splits carbs from protein to scam money, and disgusting...

I used to be a regular customer, then changed as the 'new viceroy' had got a new chef and on the off chance I was in the village and thought I'll try it again. All went really well, but since using 'new viceroy' for delivery the last 5 times I have ordered my order has either come wrong or had items missing and this is not the experience I thought I would get. Maybe once or twice if something was wrong it would be ok, but 5 times in a row is just not acceptable. I don't normally leave a bad review but I'm disappointed this is the level of customer...
