Papadam, Sidcup — Restaurant in London

We ordered from here on a Saturday night, knowing it would be a little busy, and having not ordered from here previously. The staff contacted us just before the food was due to let us know it would be a bit later and to apologise for this, which I felt was a lovely thing to do as most places would wait for you to contact them. I should add now that the food was only 10 minutes late, so it made it even more appreciated that they had taken the time to call no matter how late the food would be.

When the food arrived, the delivery driver (who was sent directly from the restaurant and not through UberEats, Just Eat etc) also apologised for the food being a little late. Everything was piping hot still and the portion sizes were really good, especially for the very reasonable prices. The food tasted great and the meal was filling, and we had plenty of leftovers.

Our party food was fantastic! We had the guys from Papadam cater for our party last night. The food was beautiful. It arrived on time, piping hot and delicious! We used to cater for our own parties but after eating at this fabulous restaurant we decided to use them Raj was helpful and suggested the best dishes and organised the serving dishes and heating devices to keep it all hot. Our guest were all highly complimentary of all the dishes. If you haven’t tried this restaurant, you should. First takeaway tonight , i will say honesty that two meals out of four were nice, However I do not enjoy my food rainbow coloured. Why the need to do this? My son had Tikka Masala and I thought it was a carton full of ketchup. Yoghurt dip Canary Yellow? My Salmon Tikka also very Red with just a pile of greasy fried onions thrown on top, peppers would have been nice. Popadoms all crushed and broken.
