Ordered Reshmi kebab which is supposed to be white chicken cubes marinated and grilled in tandoor (if you just do a quick google search), instead got served meat chapli (flat) kebab wrapped in an omlette. Tasted like dry cardboard. Husband ate it and got food poisoning, been sick all night. Chicken tikka was ok but flavourless. Biggest disappointment was Lamb shank, which was separate pieces of meat with random mushrooms and green beans poured over a separate piece of bone, didn’t even taste like lamb and was quite certainly beef, again flavourless and not what lamb shank is meant to be (slow cooked leg of lamb full of flavour). Read moreGreat meal booked with minimal notice. It was only for my wife and I, but were offered various seating locations. The meal was flavoursome and fresh; full-bodied chicken tikka which is used in all chicken meals. Good sized portions and naan breads. The staff were attentive and pleasant too. The price of the meal was within reason. This small area has two very good Indian restaurants, plus dedicated takeaway, and the Passage to India compares well with them both. I will say there is (free evening) parking outside and across the road so conveniently located. Upminster Bridge station, plus the 248 and 370 bus routes are...
