Pepe's — Restaurant in London

We have been ordering from Pepes for a long time and have always had problems with their times. Taking up to two hours to deliver sometimes. So this time I double checked how long delivery would be and they promised that it would take an hour. I made sure at the end of the call that this would take no more than an hour to deliver and they reassured me that this time would be met. An hour and a half later after ringing three times the food arrived. The driver was reluctant to offer any compensation for lateness despite being told on the phone that I should speak to the driver. He then informed us that he had forgotten the card machine and we would have to call to make a payment. When we began unpacking the food the chips were cold, there was a whole meal missing and two meals were completely wrong. This is utterly ridiculous since the person repeated the order back to me on the phone. They sent two beef burger meals instead of chicken. Clearly a massive difference! We rang them stating this and were told we did not have to pay. I then received a call an hour later stating that we did in fact have to pay and they would take £5 off our bill. Absolutely horrendous. They said they would block our call. Very bad service and extremely rude. Will not be ordering...

I ordered grilled wings 2 portions in extra hot sauce (red) and they delivered me wings in lime sauce (yellow) colour. I have citrus allergy and if I would have consumed this then I would have had serious skin reactions so who would have been responsible for this ? I called the branch and one fellow said you ordered for lime and then I argued check the uber receipt and he read it extra hot(red). He lied and transferred the call to someone else who kept on saying it is extra hot and wanted me to consume it despite telling that i am citrus allergic. He wanted me to leave my 4 year old in the house at 9pm and come to his stupid shop to return the food instead of admitting to the fault and correcting mistake by sending the right food. RIDICULOUS EXPERIENCE AND DONT ORDER FOOD FROM HERE. Bunch of lunatics running a business with no customer centricity. I am going to take this further. Prices are higher than most pepes, Have to pay 40P FOR SAUCE!!! So garlic sauce is a big thing about pepes, but i had to give it a miss as they cost 40p. I had to ask 3 times for sauce, and only received 4 maiyonnaise satchets in total. when i GOT UP from EATING MY MEAL. I was stood at the counter and asked for another maiyonaise satchet and the worker was sat down on his phon, he refused to get up to get me another SATCHET OF MAIYONNASE and then the chef from the back came and gave me some. very dirty attitude from the guy at the counter, i had loss of enjoyment from my meal. for the price of the food for what i got was dissaointing aswell, it’s average, medium sized chicken, not even big!. this happened on september 12th, 2022, around 1pm. if you are the manager and you are reading this, for the prices you put the food at, atleast make the sauces free and have decent attitude from the staff.
