Pepe's — Restaurant in London

Shockingly bad service, refused to deliver the order placed on just eat, refused to cancel the order themselves and refused to issue a refund. No help whatsoever. Just attempted to charge cash in hand for the delivery. Dodgy at best. Don't let them waste your time.

UPDATE: The response to my review is an outright lie by the restaurant. I would have been happy to wait for my order. Pepe's Northwood refused to deliver my order unless I paid a further charge which they requested as cash in hand. When I stated that I was not willing to pay more for the order they stated that they would not deliver it but refused to cancel it at their end (I was fine with them cancelling it). When I explained that the only options on Just Eat for me to cancel the order would charge me in full for the order they said that's my problem and that I would need to contact Just Eat to resolve it.

This is simply unacceptable when the only reason I ordered food was because I didn't have the time to cook.

Pepe's continued to update the Order on Just Eat to show that they had sent the order when in actual fact, it never came and was never sent as they had explained quite rudely over the phone already. This made it impossible for me to cancel without being charged. I don't know what the business model is for Just Eat but it does make me wonder if Pepe's are attempting to fraudulently get paid for nothing.

Not only was I shocked at the time with how poor their service was. I am now further disgusted by the fact that they have tried to lie and cover it up.

If you ask me, this business should not be allowed on Just Eat and should be ashamed of the way in which they treat...

Worst experience... Even I won't give a single star... I've been to most of the branches in London never had such an experience... Finchley one is the local to me they are excellent.... I've been to Hendon, Wembley, Edgware, Milton Keynes and even Cardiff branch....but never had such an experience.... I bought three full chicken with different flavours Mild, Hot and Extra Hot....but there was no difference...hardly any difference noticed...which was quite surprising and annoying at the same time....I took this to my frnd's place whom I was visiting and upon arriving they told us that this branch is not worth it ...they even go to wembley branch instead of visiting this when thinking of having pepes.

Also, I asked for garlic sauce which I noticed wasn't given and was told to pay 50p for each garlic sauce. I asked if it is mentioned on menu then more than happy to pay for it and the person was unable to show me because nothing was stated there. I said I'm going to take a pic of the menu for my ref.

Finally, I noticed the person stepped on a chair and then side mirror support to fix the Christmas decoration and didn't even clean the space. I was like how can someone be so unhygienic these days especially at a place where your serving food.

P.S. I did buy the sauces and paid for it and told him that I'll write a review as well

Update: I was truly not impressed, but your reply has made me realised that how untruthful your team is ..... because it wasn't a spam for sure n just reporting it spam was the easiest thing to do instead coming up with a response...

Worst possible place i have been two had many bad experiences here bad this one was the worst ever and i will mot be returning here again! The staff were extremley rude! I made an order majority was fine and rest was all wrong. The part of my order that was wrong was the chicken and rice and my chicken wrap asked for them to be made hot and to have the wrap with cheese. I got home my chicken and rice was lemon and herb? And then to top it off my wrap had no seasoning sauce and was just plain with mayo no CHEESE so i called up and they said no problem we will send a driver out to redeliver your order... 1 hour later.. still no food so i called up and they said oh the drivers just taken your food he should be with u shortly.. ok so i left it and.. half hour later still no sign of delivery driver! So i then made a trip to the store because i called up and they just hung up on me ans were laughing. I went to the store very unhappy to resolve this and i asked the staff for a refund and they said no we cant refund you because we need the food bag so get the food and come back so i didnt i stayed and made my brother bring the food in a plastic bag to show i havent eaten it!! How pathetic!!! And after 10 minutes my brother bought the food... they made me wait an extra 15 minutes to only end up giving me a refund of £13 in 10p and 5p pieces?!?! Are you having a laugh do not go to the resturaunt. And also there is one memeber of staff who is extremley rude and im suprised she still works there and funnily enough when i collected my food there was - guy complaining and they were just not cooperating at all.
