I recently ordered two large pizzas over the phone for collection, as I didn’t have my car at the time and asked my friends to pick them up for me. When my friends arrived at the shop, they asked for the pizzas. The staff asked if the order was for large pizzas, and my friends confirmed—based on what I had told them.
Unfortunately, when they returned with the pizzas, we realized the order was completely wrong. I immediately called the shop to let them know we had received the wrong pizzas. Instead of apologizing or showing any understanding, the staff bluntly told me, “Your order is still here. You can come and collect it.”
I explained that I didn’t have transport available and asked if the correct pizzas could be delivered. The staff refused and said it was my fault because my friend apparently confirmed the garlic base. I found this extremely frustrating—how is a confirmation of garlic base over the counter more reliable than simply asking for the name on the order?
I had to wait half an hour for my car to arrive, then took the wrong pizzas back to the store myself. I finally collected my correct order at 10:45 PM—cold and without so much as an apology from the staff. I even pointed out that they should ask for the name of the customer when handing over orders, rather than just toppings or size, but it was clear my feedback wasn’t taken seriously.
I’ve been a loyal Pizza GoGo customer for years, regularly ordering from the Romford and Harlow branches without a single issue. This experience at this branch was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. I won’t...
Read moreI was absolutely disgusted by what Pizza GoGo did to Me! I'm a Muslim who has never eaten any type of pig in my life, well not voluntarily anyways! I was on my way home one day from a friend's house in an unknown area to me, on the way i spotted the well familiar "Pizza GoGo" I entered and asked which of their pizzas are Halal (allowed to be consumed by Muslims) and their employee said to me the beef and chicken were the only halal meats. So I ordered a beef topping and when I collected I returned all the way home 5/10 miles away until I sat to eat. On my pizza I bit into a circular red shaped topping which tasted very unfamiliar to me and did not taste very nice at all. I thought nothing of it and picked it off assuming it was part of the beef pizza somehow. The following day i experienced terrible stomach problems and had to visit the loo numerous times. I called the pizza shop to enquire about what the topping was and after describing it they agreed with me that it was pepporoni. I felt sick after I heard that and I was furious. The staff didn't want to take any responsibility for their actions as a whole team until I expressed how this affects me greatly and how I feel disgusted by their attitude towards what had happened. They then agreed that they will give me a free pizza to make up for the contamination but were in no way apologetic or genuine in their proposal of a free pizza. Really spoilt pizza for me. Now imagine I had been allergic to a good item and they allowed the ingredient to end up on my pizza. Very careless and...
