I did take away or delivery before hand but on 29th December on my mother birthday wanted a nice calm and traditional place to enjoy a celebratory meal ans by choosing this restaurant I thick all the boxes. Was really welcoming and the rustic decoration was giving a good vibe to the place... the food complemented the view and turned out on having great time! It was the first time we dined in and loved our experience here! The menu includes a wide selection for different appetites. However the desert menu isn't enough variety of choices. We had soups wich both were delicious. The meatballs soup(ciorba de perisoare) my choice was great and mother went for tripe soup(ciorba de burta) which I don't prefer to eat the meat but happy with the broth only. As main we shared a rustic Platter including a bit of everything ( considering a good idea to taste multiple dishes in small quantities) gabage rolls(sarmale),pork meatballs(mici/mititei),chicken schnitzel, pork stew(tochitura),polenta with egg on top (mamaliga cu un ou ochi)and pickled vegetables (muraturi). They all so good except the schnitzel was overcooked and dry. Also I know many places they add some cheese to the polenta but it will be better choice to add goat or sheep cheese wich doesn't melt on the hot polenta.

Will...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Noroc, and it was an experience I’ll treasure! From the moment I booked the table the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel at home. The waiter from yesterday was extremely knowledgeable, recommending different dishes and his customers service was 10/10. So polite and genuine nice.

The menu offers a fantastic selection of authentic Romanian dishes, each prepared with care and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend trying the sarmale (stuffed cabbage rolls) with the mămăligă (polenta) — they were simply perfection!

Whether you're new to Romanian cuisine or a long-time fan, this restaurant is a must-visit. The combination of delicious food, genuine hospitality, and cozy ambiance guarantees a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be coming back soon! My only suggestion is :make papanași please!!! Is second time when I'm craving Romanian food and having that as desert will be PERFECTION. I'm sure the cook from Timișoara will make them delicious as the rest of the other dishes. ❤️ Ohhhh and "căpșunată" is...

Was searching for a Romanian restaurant and this was the “closest” to central London I found and seemingly there is a large East European community leaving around here.

First thing I’ll say is that the restaurant looks much nicer than the pictures I’d seen. It was very modern and nicely decorated like an old Romanian tavern from the Middle Ages. Secondly the food was super authentic, very meat focused and delicious. The portions were huge and I thought it offered great value for money. Mains start at 8£ and go up to 18£ for a sharing platter which is a bargain for the amount you get.

There were no other customers inside which was a shame but I am sure it gets busy at times.

Overall paid £31 for two excluding tip; would highly...
