Sanderstead Tandoori — Restaurant in London

Was feeling under the weather yesterday, the sort of head cold only spice can help with, so ordered from Sanderstead Tandoori ahead of the semi final. Not paying attention, my eyes zoned in on "spicy" and "kofte" which sounded good. Was gutted when something akin to a korma turned up - definitely not what the doctor ordered. Rang ST to confirm what I'd asked for and it was Kofte Kashmiri Lamb. "Kashmiri" being a bit of a clue. Fruity creamy and sweet has a place but it wasn't right then. I was astonished that ST then thanked ME for not blaming THEM for my stupid error (which must mean they get some totally out of order abuse - try and do better whoever you are) and with generosity the size of Harry Maguire's head they rustled up a cracking replacement and got it delivered before everything else went cold. Absolutely appalling service and food. Ordered dinner through uber eats at 6pm and it arrived just before 7, slightly longer than what they said but nevertheless it didnt take too long. It was cold and the portion size was DISRACEFUL. Normally I can only manage half a portion but tonight after eating the meal I was still hungry. To make matter worse they did not deliver the main meal so I phoned them and they said it would be on it's way. 30 mins later still not arrived so phoned the restaurant again and they were "two" mins away. Phoned again to be told my house does not exist. This is currently still going on and the food has not arrived 3 hours after buying it. Tastes appauling too. DO NOT...

Where do I start?

1. The food itself is not authentic. The korma seems like it comes out of a bottle and a particularly low quality bottle as well. It’s both bland and lacks real spices… it’s just all food colouring. This is not Indian food.

2. The meat is CLEARLY cooked hours ago and allowed to dry out. The meat is chewy, dry, and tasteless. How hard is it to cook a piece of meat?

3. The naan bread is literally the worst I’ve ever had. They definitely don’t make it in house and the worst part is that they have keema on their menu and it’s not even keema. It’s a proper disgrace.

I’m not sure how they can pass this off as Indian food and have good reviews. They wouldn’t survive in...
