Sidcup Recreation Club — Restaurant in London

Leaving this review on behalf of my other half..

Visited to purchase tickets for a gig, nobody behind the bar when I arrived & waited for a few minutes before anyone acknowledged me. When acknowledged, it was from a member of Staff that was sitting with members, drinking. I was asked “Can I help?” In a reluctant voice. I asked about buying tickets & was promptly told they’d sold out & there were members only tickets left. We managed to get tickets via another source but on the night found the bar staff to be rude & seemed to be concentrating on members rather than guests to the Club when serving. How have I not known about this little gem. I've lived in sidcup all my life and didn't know it was there until a few weeks back, it's situated behind houses and down a private road, once you turn the corner it's amazing, tennis courts, bowls green, lovely outside drinking area, inside is just as nice with 3 full sized snooker tables, lots of space and showing the sport channels, although it's a members club you can get signed in ,which I did.
