Taste of Nawab — Restaurant in London

Catering experience superb! Over the years I have eaten at the Taste of Nawab and bought may take aways - never been disappointed; in fact I am always planning my next visit even before I have finished eating. This weekend I had a party and chose to use Taste of Nawab as my caterers. From the very start, from the tasting sessions at the restaurant a few days before, to the delivery and set up of the food - I was so impressed. First class service it felt like a banquet treatment. I ordered a chicken biryani and a vegetable biryani with salad and water melon for 50 people. All presented beautifully and in great containers with a bain marie to keep the food warm. My guests loved the food, it was just right for a club night party. I never expect anything but great service and good food which tantalise the taste buds - but I was blown away with this order and the delightful way all the delivery, set up and even sending staff down part way into the evening to check if everything was okay! Superb and highly recommend. Abdul it's a pleasure eating at your restaurant and in doing business for catering too!...

May 2018:

Superb food!

Abdul and his team supplied delicious food for a 70-person hot buffet for our party. He loaned us and set up electric food warmers earlier in the evening and then delivered the hot dishes in stainless steel containers at the agreed time. We were ready to serve in minutes! The following day Abdul came and collected everything personally.

The dishes were all delicious and, without exception, our guests were very complimentary about the superb food.

It is always a pleasure dealing with Abdul and an even greater pleasure eating his fabulous food, which we have been doing for over 20 years. This is the second party he has catered for us and both experiences have been excellent. I highly recommend his restaurant to eat in, take away or cater for your event.

I moved in around the corner a few days ago and as a man who's been eating curry on a weekly basis most of my life, I was keen to try my local.

Poppadoms to start were clearly fresh. Light and crispy with a really nice variety of chutneys in generous pots. The currys are served in the large containers so you really get your money's worth (We all love some left over for the next day!). I love the texture of the lentils in the Lamb Dansakh and it has a sweetness which is so nicely balanced with the heat - I highly recommend. We also had the Kurma (chicken) and the saag (lamb) and found the quality to be consistent in all of the dishes.

In terms of customer service, I ordered on the phone and was met with perfect English and a clear phone line. I know those things seem obvious but they're surprisingly rare. I collected and my order was ready on time (Even though I ordered on a busy Saturday night) and the manager even came out to thank me for my order, at a very safe distance obviously and everyone in the shop was masked....
