Authentic, Fresh, Delicate flavours and rich, quality veg ingredients and cooking made this order a joy. I never thought I'd enjoy veg as much. Definitely a restaurant proud of its roots, worth saving up for the cuisine, in fact lifts standards to improve palette and consume only at the best. Every bite of any item, and I could savour the taste of every single ingredient - like individual veg which was full of fresh flavour, the seasoning and flavours ran true to Thai-cuisine. I can understand the smaller portion size - worth enjoying and appreciating all the flavours from every bite, however, this was for the money charged, too small. Also the rice were a bit too starchy and stuck which was disappointing and it was the only item that on its own wasn't tasty, expected some jasmine kick/twist.
Meal with delivery cost £27.15, but the portion size received was like someone packing away his meal to go, after eating his fill, easily should have...
Read morePretty average. I have been to Thailand many times. Food here was not really 'authentic'. Service was unfriendly. The one gentleman that served me was rude and abrupt. Efficient but not friendly. The best part of the meal were the complimentary prawn crackers and condiments. I only had a soup and an appetiser. Glad I didn't order more. The Thai Fisherman Soup which comprised mixed seafood in Thai hot and sour soup with fresh Thai herbs was not hot nor spicy. The Goong Chup Pang Tod which were marinated prawns, fried in a light batter and served with sweet and sour plum sauce were OK, nothing to write home about. The prawns were not deveined. It is highly recommended, that the vein is removed as it is an intestinal tract, which contains waste and can give the prawn a gritty texture and unpleasant taste. There are better Thai restaurants. I was in transit in London and staying at a hotel nearby. I am glad that I will only be going once. On the plus, nice, elegant...
